This is my first time writing in Publishox. Though I find better writers here, I just want to take a shot. I consider this as my stepping stone to learn and gain more knowledge from other authors and crypto enthusiasts here. Please, bear with my writings as I am not that proficient in English.
Firstly, I wanted to introduce a site with search engines where you can search and earn at the same time. It's just the same way you search in any search engines. The only difference is you are getting paid as you do your usual search activities.
It's a lot better than Google because aside from getting more favorable results, you can search privately. After all, it doesn't store and track your personal information unless you want to share it. It will soon replace Google because it is transparent and will be e community-driven one.
What am I talking about?
I am talking about Presearch.
Presearch was founded by Colin Pape in 2017. This project was such an ambitious one like feeding yourself to a dragon's den. It will take a lot of courage to compete with one of the biggest gatekeepers of the internet but this new project, as I learned the history of how the operation rapidly became a success, despite encountering a massive clash with Google, I was amazed by it. I think you will likewise be amazed at it too. I am a new user of it through the link from Publishox and find it worth the time and even introduced it to my children and friends for their search activities. This is one way of slowly introducing crypto to them also especially the new ones.
What was PRESEARCH anyway?
Presearch is an alternative, community-powered and Decentralized search engine powered by blockchain that rewards users when doing searches and other web activities using their browser. You are even rewarded for your contributions to the platform and your promotions made for it as well.
It is community-powered because the community members are the ones who will make the platform spun through the promotions and other activities being made by the users in the community.
Decentralized because it was designed for decentralized technology and can't be manipulated by anyone alone. It is the community members who will be the ones who operate the new search engine that runs on node servers in the research community. This will start and open us to freedom from centralized sole and biggest search gatekeeper.
Difference From the Largest Top Search Engines
This platform is far more different from google. Why? Because Google alone gathers all the benefit from the user's activities. They harvest what you have sown. Despitits's being one giant that controls the largest of all searches gaining billions of dollars, users don't benefit from it.
One thing more, it also records your GPS location.
Unlike Presearch, aside from giving the users the chance to gain information using the web, they also give reward for their activities. Plus, you don't need to provide private information to the platform before you can use it, you can choose whether to share it or not.
Who can Use Presearch?
Well, everyone can be a user, provided that one must follow the regulations stated in the platform under their regulations and policies.
How will a user get rewarded?
A user will be rewarded with Presearch Tokens in every search he makes. A searcher can earn .25 to .5 PRE Tokens in every search using the platform. After reaching the 8 PRE tokens threshold or 32 searches a day, the reward system will reset after 24 hours 12 am-midnight (UTC). Any activities done before the reset upon reaching the limit will not be rewarded. You need to wait that 24 hours again for the reset period to be rewarded again.
How Rewarding Works
By the searches you made, you are being rewarded and, if you refer a new user through your link, an additional 25 PRE will be added to your account balance. Withdrawal is only available if you reached 1000 PRE, this is to minimize traffic and higher gas fees in the Etherium network.
In achieving rewards, searching without purpose just to have PRE tokens doesn't work on Presearch. Why? In every search you made, you are being graded. They call it the Reward Verification System. Your overall earned PRE tokens from the search reward will be totalled. Based on your searches you are being levelled and depending on your level, the equivalent level and percentage decide your eligible token withdraw.
So what should you do to have a higher level?
Do the usual way of searching in the platform's browser. Don't try to type any words out of purpose and just click on suggestions because it may affect your level. Your searches are being saved. See that your earned PRE is high but so is your level. Be honest.
Withdrawal
As I mentioned above, there should be 1000 PRE tokens you should earn before executing a withdrawal. But the eligible token for withdrawal is based on your level. So if you are being levelled #2 you can have 20% eligible tokens only to withdraw.
Below is the list of PRE level and it's a percentage and equivalent PRE token eligible for withdrawal.
PRE Level = Tokens eligible for withdrawal
Level 8–10: 100%
Level 7: 70%
Level 6: 60%
Level 5: 50%
Level 4: 40%
Level 3: 30%
Level 2: 20%
Level 1: 10%
Level 0: None (Members will retain their existing tokens and can still search, but will earn new PRE tokens until their PRE Level rises to Level 1 or above) -Based on Presearch medium.
You can use your earned tokens to Purchase and running any ads in the PRESEARCH platform or sell them to exchanges.
Withdrawals were updated On January 5 2021.
And it was to inform old users to check the new PRE smart contract to its new one. The new list of services was updated so Presearchers must be careful in withdrawing their earned tokens.

We have been under the dominance of Google for a long time. We are using the internet the way they designed it even it's against our will since there's no other way to gain resources from the net world.
