DJ, model, innovator, artist and singer Paris Hilton has acquired the parishilton.eth domain name for an undisclosed amount. The American socialite also acquired two other .eth domain names, and now promotes her parishilton.eth account name through her Twitter profile.

The parishilton.eth domain name has been issued through ENS Domains. These domains have various functions as these are a user name, website domain and cryptocurrency wallet all in one. Instead of using a complex and long cryptocurrency address, ENS Domains allow people to use readable names.

Before Paris Hilton got the parishilton.eth domain name, someone bought it in August 2020, and it will expire on August 31st 2026. ENS Domains allow domain name holder to pay for and register their domains for decades, if they choose so. In a similar fashion parishiltonnft.eth will expire on April 13th, 2022, and ???parishilton???.eth ends in April 2026.

What does Paris Hilton have in her wallet?

To take a look in the crypto wallet of Paris Hilton, you only need to check our portfolio tracker. Hilton is an investor in Origin Protocol, hence the 200,000 OGN tokens with a value of $127,256. These tokens make up 52% of her token portfolio. However, her entire portfolio has an estimated value of $490,531. Almost half of that value is in NFTs.

Hilton owns a Mintvial for CloneX, which she didn’t claim yet. She’s also in the Cyberkongz community, owns an artwork from Refik Anadol, and has a CryptoDickButt. However, like the CryptoDickButt many NFTs have been gifted to her by fans and admirers. Her most valuable NFT has been minted for her by the RTFKT Studios team, a Paris Hilton Drip with a 50 ETH or $186,000 floor price.

High demand for web3 domain names

ENS Domains is not the only project offering these types of services. On the Tezos blockchain these Tezos Domains, on NEAR Protocol there’s NEAR Names. With Unstoppable Domains, which now runs on Polygon, users can acquire .crypto domains that they can use for various blockchains. Earlier this month we reported on the increased demand for web3 wallet names.

In the past 30 days alone, Ethereum Name Service has seen $9,95 million in NFT trading volume. That’s an increase of 39% month over month. However, what’s even more impressive is the amount of traders. The amount of people trading ENS domains has increased 1,126% to 18,365 traders over the past 30 days. Unstoppable Domains doubled its user base to more than 4,670.
