Welcome to the October Numio Developer update! We have been working on a variety of technical implementations since our September update, from new partnerships to technical integrations. Last month, we focused on the UI/UX of the Numio application, and this time we are going to focus on within Numio – along with the launch of a new initiative
A Look At Numio DeFi Integrations
We are constantly pushing the Numio Wallet forward – and continuing to build in DeFi utility is a top priority. From the launch of our significantly updating the UI and UX, to more recently launching an anonymous mode allowing a user to explore the app with as minimal information as possible – we are forward thinking and noticing the trends.
In parallel to multiple streams of development, we are well into a significant set of DeFi development sprints. Our roadmap is SICK.
Here are a few words from Jin, Blockchain Engineer at Numio talking about one of our DeFi integrations.
“I am working on decentralized finance, or DeFi, which is a system that enables financial products to become available on a public decentralized blockchain network. That makes them open to anyone to use, rather than going through middlemen like banks or brokerages.
More specifically, DeFi refers to a system by which software written on blockchains makes it possible for buyers, sellers, lenders, and borrowers to interact peer to peer rather than a company or organization facilitating a transaction.
Currently, I am building in the ability to deposit assets in one of the popular DeFi protocols called . Aave is an Open Source and Non-Custodial protocol to earn interest on deposits and borrow assets.
For example, on deposit, the Aave LendingPool pulls funds from the msg.sender and transfers onBehalf address. Here is an example of this process and functionality using the Aave protocol SDK:”

We are excited to announce a new initiative – Numio documentation! Numio UI/UX
Continuing with our UI/UX evolution, we have been updating new sections of the app and have exciting new design additions to be released in the coming weeks – some of which you will being to see in version 2.4 and 2.5.
Partnership Updates
Yesterday we announced a partnership with
“The collaboration will first see the Mute & Voice tokens being integrated into the Numio wallet, providing Mute users a fast and cheap way to send and interact with their tokens. Moving forward we are working on integrating the zkRollup powered automated market maker (AMM), Mute Switch, into the Numio app for L2 trading and token pooling at your fingertips.”
We are excited to work with Mute to bring greater utility to our existing user bases.
