Artists are largely "starving artists" for a reason: they don't get their fair share, relative to the art patrons, many of whom enjoy the type of 10,000x returns only seen in the crypto world.

As crypto enters mainstream adoption, it's imperative that we embrace the lofty ambitions that founded bitcoin, blockchain, and the Ethereum grand experiment of benefitting the community. Nothing does this better than asserting artist' rights. As their white paper goes on to explain:

"France has respected a 4% resale royalty on artwork for the life of an artist plus 70 years since 1920. More than 70 countries, including major art markets like in the UK and Western EU nations, honor directive 2001/84/EC of the European Parliament.

The US, Canada, Switzerland, and Asia (including China) do not recognize such royalty provisions. The proceeds from sold works of all artists, living or otherwise, are 100% the property of the asset owners. We feel that artists and their heirs should benefit from the goodwill and appreciation that snowballs overtime for an artist, the product of a lifetime of public appearances, exhibitions, and meaningfully connecting with art enthusiasts.

Blockchain, as a tool for positive societal change, should spearhead these efforts. NFTsDAO's royalty structure does just that."

Blockchain projects that embrace positive, encouraging policies that support the community have a tendency to scale much faster than those that cash grab or look for short-term profitability. Blockchain use cases are designed to solve major systemic problems. NFTsDAO does an admirable job of advancing the efforts to advocate for niche crypto artists, and artists of any stripe, on behalf of the blockchain community.
