Outside of helping build the BlockchainRPG.io game, I am also a big gamer myself. With that in mind, I figured I would share a couple of the other WAX-based NFT games that I am currently exploring. It is important to note that I view these games as games and not as investments, so this is not investment advice. Below are a couple of NFT games I am currently playing. I hope you enjoy it!

(Full disclosure - I am on the development team of BlockchainRPG) -
I might have a slight bias since I am assisting in the development of this game, but I have always loved roleplaying games. I have spent thousands of hours on games like Runescape and GuildWars. While we are nowhere near that level with BRPG yet, we as a team have a large vision, and we look forward to bringing it to life. Right now, the game is currently in open beta and does not require any upfront NFT purchase, but we will soon be transitioning away from this model. In the future, we will require 1 of several character card NFTs in order to access the game. This move is occurring for several reasons, but more information can be found on our website.
- Currently, players can: Hunt in 2 different biomes, the forest and the swampland. Players can craft armor, weapons, and health potions. Hunts reward a number of different token resources as well as rare NFTs. More functionality will be added in the near future. Check out the BlockchainRPG Whitepaper

MillionOnMars
MillionOnMars (OnMars) seems to be growing like crazy. They raised a little over $450,000 in their founder's token sale, and the volume on their NFT collection has been growing steadily ever since. I personally own a Founder's Token as well as many other in-game NFTs. I consider myself a pretty heavy/daily active player. The team seems to be responsive, addresses bugs/issues, and the game is processing very quickly (in terms of development). The game is not necessarily free to play as you have to purchase an access pass. You can purchase one directly from the team for a premium, or oftentimes you can find the player access badges on the secondary market for much cheaper. Quick note - access badges bought from the secondary market are tradable. If you purchase a badge directly from OnMars, it will be non-transferable. Below is a quick screenshot from their website on their overall gameplay plans. Players can currently install buildings, upgrade them, craft, mine, explore, work, etc. There is a good amount of depth to OnMars, so I highly recommend reading some of their detailed guides.

The Adventurers Guild (TAG)
Honestly, this one surprised me but only because I didn't do my own research until I stumbled across it. TAG is a discord-based, free-to-play, RPG NFT game. This game is currently one of my favorites because I can play when I have small breaks throughout the day, directly through discord. No clunky apps or loading times. TAG is also being developed by an amazing team (the same team responsible for the Honeycomb Discord Bot), SixPM Software. In my opinion, TAG has the perfect type of RPG "grind" for my brain. Even better than that... you can tell there is passion in the team behind the game as you read through the available daily quests. The quests are detailed and engaging and do not require too much time. Just make sure you read carefully because the storylines are great.
TAG Provides players the opportunity to go on random "encounters" or hunts and providers and allotment of daily quests based on the player's level. Choose your weapon, finish adventures to gain loot like token resources, crafting materials, and rare NFTs. Highly recommend checking this one out.

Wrath of Tezca
Wrath of Tezca is a fantasy-based RPG game that requires players to purchase character card NFTs in order to access and play the game. Currently, the game is only a "clicker" base, similar to BRPG, but they have plans to transition to a 3D model in the near future. Currently, WoT functions in a similar manner to the mechanics in AlienWorlds. players assign their missing party orcs, equip them with armor and weapon NFTs and then the soldiers can be sent on instant missions across other player-owned lands. Depending on which land is chosen, players will pay a different fee rate to the landowners. Character cards are fairly cheap so I think it is worthwhile to give them a play. I recently bought some common land myself.

Metropolis-Origins
This is a fairly new one to me but I have already played for several hours via their free-to-play "Tourist" desk. You can purchase NFT packs of cards up to 250-card packs for a limited time. It appears hundreds of packs have already been sold but they offer the Tourist deck so players can get access to the game and play online multiple or versus DefaultAI at no cost. I did a little reading into the team behind the game and I think there is some great long-term potential to bring their visions to life. They also have a few comics already out and developed.
