The National Football League (NFL) star player Rob Gronkowski, also known as Gronk, is launching his personal non-fungible token (NFT) collection. As stated in a press release shared with The Block, the NFT collection celebrates Gronkowski’s four Super Bowl championships. Also, the collection will feature five trading cards designed by one of the player’s favorite artists, Black Madre.

The press release revealed that the “crown jewel” of the NFT collection is the 1-of-1 Rob Gronkowski Career Highlight Refractor Card. This card is digitally signed by Gronk and designed in honor of his four Super Bowl Championships.

The auction would take place on NFT marketplace OpenSea. The event will start at 7 pm EST on the 11th of March and end on Saturday, March 13. During the auction, bidders will be required to pay with ETH. As a reward, the highest bidder will meet Gronkowski in person and be his guest at a game.

In a statement, the NFL star player said:

“With the rapid success of NFT’s across platforms like NBA Topshop and OpenSea, I wanted to take the business into my own hands and be the first professional athlete to launch my own NFT collectible. Now, fans will be able to get a piece of the action and share these iconic Super Bowl moments with me in this all new digital format with my Championship Series NFT.”
