Zombie Horde!
The sun is setting on our Basic Zombie grave. Why you ask? You can read the reasons at bottom of this post (it’s a longer one), but the cliff notes version is here:
Our NEW BASIC GRAVE will offer the same NFT, however, the minting timer has been reduced to only 7 Days! This means that for those of you who need to remain in our old Basic Grave for +7 days to earn the Basic Zombie NFT, it may be faster to switch to our new grave if the NFT is what you want.
Our OLD BASIC GRAVE will be reducing emissions to zero and retiring on Monday August 30th, at 11:59 EST.
This ensure that everyone has both the ability to stake without time lost on minting.
At the same time, we are introducing our Zombie Multiplier Grave. This grave will require the Basic Zombie NFT to be consumed to be used. ??

- Do I need to restake in this grave? The answer is of course yes if you want an NFT or emissions. We understand the inconvenience, but think of it this way- you stake in new graves with us all the time. This is a better and upgraded contract!
- Why Seven Days? Well, considering the fact that our Basic Zombie NFTs will be used for a lot, we thought it best to speed up how many of these could be minted for our community.

Ok, long-form coming. Here are a few reasons we are deploying a new GRAVE;
- Better contract. The contract basically connects the minting timer and the withdrawal timer. We don’t like this. For context, here is what our team wrote on August 10th on Telegram:
It has come to our attention that the Basic Zombie Grave withdraw timer and NFT timer are experiencing issues.
The root issue: When the grave was listed, the timer for early withdraw was intended to be longer than other graves, but the UI was not updated to reflect this.
The best thing for you to do right now is wait for the NFT timer to be complete and if planning to withdraw, withdraw max at that time. Withdrawing before the NFT timer is complete may result in our early withdraw fee being assessed.
Harvesting still operates as expected, and your funds are of course SAFU and you are able to withdraw.
The dev team is preparing the following solutions:
1) Change the Early Withdrawal Timer to Match the NFT timer to clearly denote what the contract is actually doing, thus warning new users and existing users of early withdrawal penalties.
2) Potentially* increasing rewards on the Basic Zombie grave for 27 days as an incentive to continue staking for the duration of the timer. This is currently under discussion.
3) Retiring this grave after 27 days and opening a new Basic Zombie Grave with an early withdrawal fee for only 3 days similar to our other graves.

2. Increased Security. One of the functions that remained on this grave in the form of undeadbar created an unintended consequence that could be a minor bug. This is not serious, but we addressed it anyways.
