First edition gear from Blockade Games’ soon-to-launch blockchain RPG Neon District is about to become much harder to obtain.
The Season One Loadout sale ends at 8:00 pm (EST) tonight, the last chance for users to buy loot crates with first edition gear.

This means that these items are available for direct purchase for only a few more hours.
“After today, players will only be able to acquire first edition Neon District gear on OpenSea,” Blockade Games told us in an email. “Regular game inventory will continue to be available in the Neon District portal up until the launch of Season One.”
The decision to end the sale of first edition items over a month before the launch of the game is part of a push to improve the rarity of early items following feedback from Neon District’s growing community, as all future gear will not carry a first edition designation.
