After a successful first meetup during the BitKE Nakuru Crypto Tour, Sankore 2.0 is back in Nakuru for a second visit to introduce Web3 to more even more people and help them jump onto this burgeoning space.
Web3 is the next evolution of the internet and it leverages on blockchain technology to build a decentralized digital infrastructure.
To help attendees better grasp the opportunities in Web3, Sankore 2.0 will bring the finest of the bunch within the NEAR ecosystem in Kenya and those who have been shaped by the experiences of Web3 and blockchain.

Below are some of the people who will be speaking at the event
- Paul Otieno – Kenya’s First NEAR Certified Developer. Paul will give a practical guide on how to get started with being a blockchain developer
- Kevin Imani – CEO, Sankore 2.0. Kevin will discuss Sankore’s community goals and the incubation opportunities for developers to build on the NEAR blockchain
- Sylvia Ndunge – Social Media Manager, Sankore 2.0. Sylvia will discuss the importance of acquiring digital skills to harness Web3 opportunities.
Sankore 2.0 is inviting computer science students, artists, technology professionals and others who are interested in learning about blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
