My thoughts on Learn to Earn.

Within the ever evolving world of Cryptocurrency and Blockchain technology we are seeing more and more ways for people to earn a passive income, some extra money and even a living. What I've come across over the past few years, is the ability to earn cryptocurrency tokens through participation in faucets, surveys, and even educational content. Some methods I have to admit are more on the tedious side of life, while others continue to provide a revolutionary way to earn tokens.

The two in particular I want to talk about are; Coinbase and CoinMarketCap

Here is a link to both respective site's.

Coinbase - https://www.coinbase.com/join/omerov_xa

CoinMarketCap - https://coinmarketcap.com/earn/

A brief glance on either COINBASE or CoinMarketCap, you'll soon realize they both offer the ability for a trader to use their services to BUY/SELL tokens, and a myriad of other financial services found on most top leading Cryptocurrency exchanges today.

But there's more.

Unlike all the other exchanges that can be found today, Coinbase and CoinMarketCap both offer an educational portal, called EARN. What separates the educational portals found on these two exchanges from other leading competitors is the ability to earn tokens for watching videos, learning content, and inevitably participating in a quiz afterwards. Netting you in some cases, a lucrative rewards.

Aside from having to complete the quiz with a 100% score, you must in Coinbase's case, be selected to receive a reward. Good news is, the wait lists are regularly reviewed by the Coinbase team, increasing the odd's of being selected over time. The ability of other Coinbase account holder's to refer new and existing account holder's also increase's your odds of the ever glorious selection. I will note, that in order to participate you must create a Coinbase Account, which is free, easy and quick. *Refer to the link above

CoinMarketCap delivers this content with a twist. You do NOT need a CoinMarketCap account to participate. So you'll find no referral needed to increase the odds of receiving a reward. You will need to provide a relative address to receive your reward. This can be from any exchange. I will recommend that you subscribe to their mailing list, so you are in the loop when new campaigns are listed. It's that simple.

Content

Content on both websites can be accessed anytime, even after the completion of a campaign. So if you are interested in learning and not to concerned if you receive a reward for your time. This might be a great way to access great FREE educational content.

Coinbase

My experience on Coinbase over time has been nothing but positive, well... On the earn side of things anyway. The educational content is excellent. Each project on Coinbase Earn is represented in multiple three minute videos. These videos are all curated specifically for the project, and the rewards are given by the respective project to Coinbase for this purpose. Over time we've seen such projects as, BAT, CELO, COMPOUND, EOS, STELLAR, just to name a few. Each project designates an amount to be rewarded for participation. For example, the potential to earn $6 CELO, $9 COMP, $50 EOS, and $50 XLM. Keep in mind these figures while some higher than others, should paint a picture of just how great the content really is. And once again ill reiterate, even on the completion of the campaigns, the content is accessible much like in a library. For your learning, anytime.

CoinMarketCap

CoinMarketCap has been fluid, and an excellent demonstration of the potential learning and earning can be for the Crypto world. The content is curated in multiple videos delivered in less than three minutes. The project's involved much like with Coinbase, offer up these rewards as an incentive to increase awareness towards the project and offer some invaluable knowledge along the way. To date, CoinMarketCap give's you the ability to learn from two projects listed, BAND protocol and Kava.io. However the campaign to earn a rewards for BAND has ended, whilst the other is true for Kava.io. Campaign as of writing this post, September 16th 2020, ends in 4 days.

My overall impression so far is very positive. The educational content has been vital for me. Even if at times unrewarding. Growing a better understanding on the impact ERC-20 tokens are having for example, along with being introduced to BRAVE browser as a result of Coinbase.

With the success of projects associated with the EARN campaigns on these two platforms. I feel it will only be a matter of time until other platforms like BINANCE begin participation.

What have been your experiences with the earn features found today?

Do you think we will see dedicated platforms for such content in the future?

I'd love to hear what you think.

Keep learnin', Keep Earnin' and keep Tippin'.

Salute.
