At the moment, I've got two sources of income. There's my salary, which is like 90 percent of the whole thing, and then's crypto stuff.
Crypto stuff is both active stuff, ie writing on PUBLISH0X for example, and passive stuff, ie staking rewards and things of that nature.
But I've got a plan.
First, I'm working hard to revamp two old websites I haven't been able to update as often as I wanted to due to the fact that my daily job is 'mind-consuming' - so to speak.
There's also a third and fourth website I've launched more recently.
The two old(er) websites are eligible for monetisation with WordPress' programme. In order to monetise with WordPress, you need to spend $90-something a year on one of WP's packages.
I reckon with the number of daily readers (which is quite decent for both), and considering the package in question includes a free domain (which I'm paying for every year anyway), I can probably break even in a few months. It's peanuts. But it's a start.
Second on the list is monetisation of my main YouTube. I've tried running different YouTubes but this is the most successful one simply because I never run out of ideas for daily shorts, and I've got a decent strategy in terms of uploading videos on a topic that's very specific.
It's not something everyone's interested in, but I'm basically the only one on YouTube, so that's important.
I reckon both YouTube and WordPress may provide a meaningful source of income (ie, at least three figures a month) to replenish the pot by mid 2024.
We'll see.
