Hello readers,

With their recent project LeoThreads, the LeoFinance team Is successfully making quite some noise in the crypto space, especially in hive chain as more and more people are really liking this new alternative to Twitter and of course, it supports free speech and and built on the decentralised hive chain. With This amazing new product update, the Leo team has brought the era of micro blogging in our beloved hive ecosystem. With frequent updates to this product, the user experience has been smoother than ever while the bugs being fixed, So now it’s more easier and fun to use.. just just go, test it to let your thoughts out!

Well, if this is your first time visiting the LeoThreads, just go to the leofinance.io website then hit the Threads button at the middle upper section of the page as shown in the screenshot above and with just one click now you have entered the LeoThreads.

As shown in the image above, at the left side you can watch a live circular graph showing the Leo tokenomics including the current staked, liquid and liquidity pool count along with and updated data of total Leo market capitalisation. If you ask me, it actually does look cool to see that fancy yet simple chart and get to know so much about the token’s love performance.

However, At the right side you will see trending topics in form of hashtag ‘#’ appearing as a vertical line and the topics and ranked respecting their popularity and usage. Unlike Leofinance tribe, LeoThreads is not limited to financial related Threads, but you can actually share anything you want, just like twitter! While roaming in the LeoThreads, I have enjoyed many meme and photo posts with short quotes and I realise how potential this project has to feed you with tons of short posts just like twitter or Instagram does.

And the middle the Threads appear where you can scroll through and reading them without doing any more mouse clicks and keyboard work. You can also vote and comment as well as share the Thread just like twitter or any other social media app and with a more twist, the team LeoFinance has also enabled the Downvote system in LeoThreads too which can be accessed in every Threads by clicking the 3 horizontal dot button. After surfing it for a while, I think that this project has some real juice as a basic social media system and if all goes well and over time, it upgrades itself as more stable and perfection, it’s just s matter of time before we will compete with mainstream social media sites.

Like a normal day tweet, here you can post a thread by hitting the Thread button at center above and a sub window will open for you write and upload your thought / story. Just like a normal hive blog publish system, you will get all the edit tools and markup language enabled here also but unlike a normal hive post, the maximum word count for a Thread is just 240 characters.

There are certain trending topics on LeoThreads that you can enjoy in your free time, one of them is #gmfrens where people share pictures from their everyday life! While scrolling through tons of daily work or when reading, curating or writing blog, you can always enjoy a little off time visiting these awesome stories and within some minutes, you would have gasped a handful of good stories to humour or motivate you before going back to work. Some other topics or hashtags that are currently trending in LeoThreads are #food #music #polls #spanish #alive #splinterlands #photography #sports etc and if this small list doesn’t match your taste, there is also a tons of financial small threads are already there to kill your time or a large number of more topics/hashtags that you would surely like and enjoy a good time with.

I hope you liked reading my thoughts on LeoThreads and hope I have motivated you enough to at least take a tour to it when you get your time. I will be also sharing my first Thread today and I will share this post as my first experience at LeoThreads.

Let me know your thought about LeoThreadss in the comment below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.
