I started my crypto journey in April of 2022 and I was really interested in all crypto projects. And at some point in June of 2022, I was on the Google play store and searched for apps where you could earn some free crypto. Then I found an app called Coin, the Coin app is a geomining app where you "mine" your geolocation and get a little reward for doing so.
My Experience
I have had the app for about 9 months with the basic plan and have in total accumulated about 31 400 Coin (about 9 000 Coin earned by geomining and the rest earned in other ways). 31 400 Coin is about 2364,42 Xyo tokens or $13.56. That's not much but I have definitely not used the app every day for the past 9 months. I only use it a couple of times per week.
Are the premium plans worth it?
I would say that the app is not worth it with the basic plan but if you are patient like me you still earn some crypto. If you drive a lot it would definitely be worth it with just a premium plan or a premium plan with a SentinelX NFC card to maximize those earnings.
I once tested the plus plan for a couple of days when I was on vacation, and to get there I had to drive a lot. On the first day I drove about 770 km which is a little under 478 miles and that day I mined 2811,05 Coin. On the second day I drove about 150 km (about 93.2 miles) and earned 2150,76 Coin (I got many big geomines that day so that's why I earned so much on a short drive).
How to maximize earnings on the basic plan
I am on the basic plan and earn about 500 Coin per week (every week is different, some weeks I can earn much more than 500 Coin and some a lot less).
What I do to maximize my earnings are the following:
Take surveys
Rewarded play, play games and get awarded with Coin
Geoclaim, by geoclaiming an area you "invest" some Coin in an area and become an owner of the area, the more Coin you "invest" the more you will earn.
I mine a lot during the week so that my bonus drop will contain more coin
Gamified travel, set up a destination when you mine. and then when you reach the destination a geodrop with some Coin will be waiting for you
Witness big geomines, the first 200 who witness a big geomine will receive a percentage of the geomine
As I said the premium plans are worth it if you drive a lot but if you don't want to pay for a premium plan you can go with the basic plan. It takes a while to make your first 10 000 Coin with the basic plan but then you can withdraw the Coin for some xyo crypto tokens. And who doesn't want some free crypto? At some point when the price of XYO rises my tokens will be worth much more than $13.
