Metaverses seem to be the hot topic in the crypto space as of late. So I thought I'd share my experience with a very promising project called
What is Torum?
is a SocialFi Metaverse designed to connect crypto enthusiasts, or essentially a social media platform mainly focused on crypto. Interacting with the platform awards users with their native token XTM. I started using this platform back in September, and have earned 289.43 XTM in that time, which is currently worth $327.05!
What Is XTM And How Do I Earn It?
XTM is the native token on . Landers, which is what users of the platform are called, can earn XTM by liking posts, posting, creating a thread in a clan or simply signing on. Additional earnings can come from gaining followers or fellow landers can send you gifts which reward you in XTM.
New landers can earn 7.5 XTM ($8.475) to start their journey on through a referral code such as this one. There is a vetting process to start earning however, new landers need to complete simple tasks on their "Power Bar" just to prove they will be an active member of the community. This does not take much time at all, and should not be a deterrent.
The TORUM Community
In my opinion, aside from making money while using a social media platform, the best part about is the community. I have learned so much about cryptocurrencies, NFTs, play 2 earn games and various other crypto related projects from fellow landers its unbelievable. There are articles, analysis, project announcements, NFT giveaways (including one from me every Monday), and so much more on. They are a welcoming group with a wealth of knowledge who can point new landers in the right directions of projects in their infancy which have led to some major gains along the way.
The Future
is currently working on building an NFT marketplace, they have already launched their Genesis NFT Avatars which seem to be gaining value quickly, and have more NFT projects to come.
They are also building Finance which looks to deliver more ways to earn with some Liquidity Farming and NFT staking. Giving and receiving gifts on the social side will seem to give these earnings a boost, but it is unclear at this time how this will work.

Who knows how big it will get, I believe it has a bright future, but for now its a great resource with great people talking about crypto, all while earning some at the same time.
