Crypto.com is the first and only exchange I bought into so far as I begin my crypto journey. Today I will be reviewing my experience and knowledge about using this platform so far.
First of all I want to mention how friendly user the platform was for me. It was easy to understand and follow the steps to get started. Once approved everything was confusing because of unfamiliarity. So I hope to bring some clarity because I really see the blockchain and cryptocurrency being our revolutionary future.
Crypto.com is accessed through a phone app. Once download is complete follow steps to create an account. KYC (Know Your Client) is active, this is a new procedure on how this system operates its security measures. KYC is a process of providing proof of identification. So taking a picture of your ID front and back and sending it to them. It was a new thing for me but CRYPTO.COM has a lot of good reviews. Once this process is complete, congrats!! You are now an owner of a crypto exchange. What does this mean?
For starters now you may buy, own, sell and trade cryptocurrency that this exchange supports. The phone app has a platform that makes it fairly easy to understand once you get used to it. The phone app gives you an easy way to monitor, track and trade your crypto. Your crypto can also be used to purchase things through a Visa card. This acts as a prepaid card, it only allows you to use the amount of credits that you have in CRO which is Crypto.com cryptocurrency. This allows the exchange customer to be able to use the cryptocurrency freely in the open world through a visa card. You may see some of the card options here:
With no requirements needed, you may request a blue visa card. I have requested this card for myself and will be using this to be transferring my free credits that I am earning into this card. HODL and then trade, I am trying to see if I can build a Trading entrepreneurship totally free of cost from my own pocket. That is what my 2021 journey will be based upon. 0$ all in HODL haha ok so enough about my personal project. The card that is one upgrade above the free one is the Ruby card. I have my Girlfriend invested in this one, we have invested 100$ invested and right now we sit at about a 40% profit. Not because of CRO though let me tell you lol but from a good play we made with our 50$ referral that we got when we signed up. But the higher upgrade you get for the visa card the more rewards become available to you. You may compare the different upgrades by checking their website.
To get the other upgrades you must stake CRO. In other words you must purchase a minimum amount of CRO credits and put them on a 6 month hold. Once you do this, you will qualify for the rewards and a card should be issued to your mailing address shortly. After the 6 months the CRO will become available to you and you may do as you please. Currently there is no minimum required balance necessary to keep the account active except for the initial staking requirements.
Crypto.com does not cover some of the wallets that support certain crypto that I will be trying to cash out. But for now, for starters Crypto.com is definitely a winner from my end. Trustworthy, reliable, easy to use, innovative and challenges our future.
