MXC Exchange Increases Support for the Polkadot Ecosystem

Polkadot is one of the most exciting projects in the blockchain space today. It has now received full support from MXC Exchange, both in terms of becoming a ChainX validator as well as funding future projects.

Polkadot and MXC Strengthen Ties

One of the main reasons why Polkadot is so appealing is due to its core approach. Introducing blockchain interoperability will elevate this industry to a new level. The project has already received a lot of support from developers, resulting in roughly 200 new projects being built.

Initially founded by Dr. Gavin Wood, co-founder of Ethereum, Polkadot aims to achieve what Ethereum can not. It is not about creating a competing ecosystem, but rather one that shows how things can be done differently. Developers can build on whichever technology stack they prefer at all times.

MXC Exchange acknowledges there is a lot of potential where Polkadot is concerned. The exchange is now a full-fledged network validator for ChainX, one of the many projects leveraging this interoperable technology. Supporting the ChainX mission to become the biggest PoS network to date shows MXC exchange has its finger on the pulse.

Additionally, the company has confirmed the launch of a dedicated fund. By pooling together resources, MXC Exchange aims to support the current and future development of projects running on Polkadot technology.

A Long-standing Relationship

One could argue that MXC Exchange and Polkadot have appreciated mutual benefits. Polkadot senior members remain in close contact with MXC officials. This is not a new development, as both groups have been in contact ever since MXC became the first exchange to list both DOT and KSM last year.. Beating the competition to market is crucial for any trading platform looking to make a big impact.

This latest development confirms the exchange wants to see blockchain transcend beyond its current use cases. Allowing for that to happen will require innovative concepts and projects. Polkadot fits that label rather well, albeit there is still a lot of work to be done in the months ahead.
