Could you please introduce yourself to our community (for those who are new here??) and tell them what is Moonscape ??

Erlan Reverol:

Erlan Reverol: game designer of Moonscape. I have been working in the gaming industry for around 7 years, and consider myself a gaming enthusiast with a massive collection of games.

Mary | Satoshi Club:

My name is I m from the traditional gaming space but joined crypto over 4 years ago, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Now working with both my passions together to make the dream come true!

Erlan Reverol:

Moonscape is a twist on resource management strategy games. Players explore a futuristic moon, enhancing their towns, and receiving rewards for their time spent in-game. It is an online strategy city-builder will allow users to collect resources and use DeFi mechanics, plunder rival cities, and work together with allies in the pursuit of Moon-domination and unending profits! Moonscape will allow NFTs to be obtained and used directly in the game.

it s very complexly on that front as there s the moonscape team, lighthouse, seascape, and other partners ??

But its definitely big.

Erlan Reverol:

We have several teams working on Moonscape, for clients, visuals, DeFi, and blockchain, so yeah, complex.

Mary | Satoshi Club:

 I believe you??

Incredible! Can’t wait to try it!

Thank you for your intro guys! And as we all want to know more details about Moonscape we can move to the questions from our community ?? ready?

Erlan Reverol:

 Ready, shoot

Mary | Satoshi Club:

Q1 from Telegram user @Cheriemike

While accessing your project I became confused at some point, Can you please tell me the connection between MoonScape and Seascape? And for Lighthouse being your Launchpad for play-to-earn games, what are the requirements for projects to launch on your platform? I also noticed that there is no whitepaper/lite paper of your project that can give users detailed information about your project, when will it be? You also have no roadmap that can help users know what you plan to achieve now and in the year ahead, Can you please share your plans for the coming year 2022, and at the moment what part of your project are you working on before the end of the year? Thanks

Erlan Reverol:

 I’ll take this one

D. | Satoshi Club:

Lots of questions in one ??

Erlan Reverol:

Seascape Network team is in charge of all the DeFi gameplay functions. Seascape has tons of experience and expertise in smart contract side.

For lighthouse, we are looking for key gaming and DeFi projects that use defi systems and explore them in interesting ways.

D. | Satoshi Club:

Lighthouse is a part of Seascape Network?

Erlan Reverol:

 Basic Roadmap:

 Nov: Lighthouse IDO

 Dec: MSCP launch

late Dec: Moonscape limited NFT sale

 Jan: Private Alpha Release

 Feb: Public Beta Release

D. | Satoshi Club:

Nice! could you share with us details of your IDO?

Erlan Reverol:

Currently working on the client and defi functions. After this is done, we will open the Private alpha early next year.

Mary | Satoshi Club:

You’re looking for a project by yourself or projects come themselves???

Erlan Reverol:

You can visit our website https://seascape.house for an overview.

A bit of both, we have reached out to projects and some have come to us.

But in any case, the Lighthouse team sieves through everything to make sure to only bring the best projects up.

The goal here is not to launch as many as possible, we don t ‘launch and forget’.

We help new games and projects from ideation to raise, development, launch, and even post-launch with marketing, networking, and interactions with others in the ecosystem.

Mary | Satoshi Club:

That’s nice?? I see that you have a form for a new project on your website ??

Yes, correct, while we will be very active in our reach outs we thought some very good under the radar projects could also come to us that way ??

Mary | Satoshi Club:

Thank you for your answers! Ready to proceed???

Erlan Reverol:

 Yes, next question.

Q2 from Telegram user @JesusFre1tes

There are countless NFT games that have been developed with the advent of blockchain technology and with the realization that these games can represent a stable source of income for many people. My question is, what are the main differences and highlights that Moonscape has compared to all the other games? Is your model adaptable to scholarships for those users who find it difficult to be a holder? What economic model have you adapted to Moonscape to make it attractive?

Ah, let me try that one.

Moonscape will allow NFTs to be obtained and used directly in the game.

Many players of strategy games, such as me, spend hours or days improving and upgrading their bases and vehicles. In Moonscape, you can take that hard work and turn it into an NFT that will contain all the data of your city or vehicle, and trade it or sell it.

Mary | Satoshi Club:

 Yes, that’s attractive ??

D. | Satoshi Club:

Have you been inspired by any already existing games while developing Moonscape?

As the game can be played on that front without ever spending a single MSCP, those having very little in terms of tokens or holder mentality could still participate in the game.

Now of course we also have DeFi mechanics, which is where most of the money will come from, but these can be started with very little.

The issue of most of the other games, that then require scholarship programs, is the prohibitive cost of entry for some communities

Mary | Satoshi Club:

So, everyone will be able to join??

With moonscape, you could start with very little, or even nothing if you just want to play without the DeFi aspect.

D. | Satoshi Club:

 That’s cool.

Well everyone in the teams is avid gamers, so we know so many games that I m sure we drew inspiration from somewhere, but can t exactly pinpoint one single game we used for inspiration, how about you Erlan?

Erlan Reverol:

Classic strategy/resource management games, not a specific one. But for the visuals, I was aiming for a retrofuturistic style.

Mary | Satoshi Club:

 And it looks perfect ??

Thank you for your answers guys! Ready to jump to the next question???

Erlan Reverol:

 Yes, next.

Q3 from Telegram user @MudaraSilva

You have mentioned that traditional gamers can participate in your game without connecting a cryptocurrency wallet to Moonscape. I noticed that you are using a play-to-earn model for the game. If a player participates in the game without connecting a wallet, how can he withdraw his rewards? Do you allow withdrawals to an external wallet that is not connected to Moonscape? From the project’s side, what is the advantage of allowing traditional gamers to play games on the platform?

Erlan Reverol:

 Allow me.

The game can be played without using wallets, but none of the DeFi functions will be available. This includes DeFi staking, NFTs, etc.

In order to enjoy the DeFi/P2E functions, a player must connect their wallet as usual. We are even giving a free Rover NFT just by connecting your wallet.

D. | Satoshi Club:

So you think your game even can be attractive for pure gamers not only for crypto people?

Mary | Satoshi Club:

 It’s interesting ??

Erlan Reverol:

If players do not have a wallet or want to use any of these functions, they can still enjoy all the traditional gameplay of Moonscape: resource management, city building, rovers upgrades, battles, exploration.

There will be a lot to do for traditional gamers. But as mentioned, simply by connecting a wallet, the player will be rewarded.

D. | Satoshi Club:

Cool! I might imagine it could be a great start point to involve someone in crypto, who love playing games but doesn’t know anything about crypto ??

Mary | Satoshi Club:

It’s comfortable O? I can assume that some players will start with a game without a wallet but as time passed they will be involved in your defi model. Nice strategy ??

Thank you for your answers! Ready to go to the next question???

D. | Satoshi Club:

Q4 from Telegram User @Orlemys

MSCP will be the official token of Moonscape, and it will have a crucial utility since it will be used in-game to get MoonDust. I’d like to know how important Moondust is to the overall playing experience? Are users able to play the game without Moondust? If so, will everyone playing be required to have a certain amount of tokens linked to their in-game account or linked wallet? What is the minimum amount of MSCP needed? Also, what are the token use cases outside the game? Can we stake, farm, etc?

 I’ll do that one.

Moondust is an important feature of the Moonscape ecosystem. The Moonscape signature token MSCP can be used to refine its associated resource Moondust which can be used to attain rare rovers, increase resource harvests, and improve DeFi features in buildings.

While it isn’t necessary for gameplay, all players who have the MSCP token have the opportunity to refine Moondust.

Also, all users who refine Moondust will join a pool that at the end of each season will be divvied out among the players. The more moondust you refine, the bigger your share of the pool. The more Moondust refined that season, the larger the pool will be. So everyone who participates will see Moondust rewards!

D. | Satoshi Club:

 Gotcha.

So you will not be forced but rather incentivized to get the MSCP tokens ??

D. | Satoshi Club:

After IDO your token will be available for farming, or any other activities outside the game?

Mary | Satoshi Club:

As for DeFi side, what will be $ minimum we can start with?

Well the game itself will have farms, staking, and so on ??

D. | Satoshi Club:

Oh got it ?? everything in one place ??

As for the minimum, well I want to say as little as $1 as this is a staking pool, so on the contrary of some games where you need to buy NFTs to participate, here, you could place as little, or as much, as you want to get started.

Mary | Satoshi Club:

 Excellent ??

And remember that you could start playing the game itself with absolutely nothing too if you want.

Mary | Satoshi Club:

Thank you for your answers! Ready for the next question???

Though of course playing with MSCP and moondust does provide advantages.

Mary | Satoshi Club:

We will train from the beginning ??

 Yeah, ready.

D. | Satoshi Club:

Yes, i remember and definitely will try ??

Q5 from Telegram user @Lena_V10

I see that the rewards are distributed among the players on how much time they spent in-game. So, If a player of your game has just been with your game’s interface without playing or doing anything, will he receive rewards? Besides, cryptocurrencies, what are the other minimum requirements for a player to start your game? Should he/she own any builder or Rovers to start your game? Will your game be in a challenging model, like to reach up high and more levels or it has a certain conclusion? Lastly, if I destroyed some parts of my enemy’s town will I gain any resources from my enemy’s town? Thank you.

Erlan Reverol:

 This one is for me.

D. | Satoshi Club:

 Some questions were answered already??

Erlan Reverol:

In-game rewards are based on game achievements and missions. DeFi rewards are based on a combination of spending Moondust, upgrading buildings, and using the DeFi features.

Rovers and Buildings will be obtainable with traditional gameplay, and players will be able to turn those into NFTs; trading rovers and cities will be possible.

As explained, nothing DeFi is needed to start playing the game, nothing needs to be bought in advance.

Mary | Satoshi Club:

On what will the reward depend to a greater extent? From investments or from a successful combination (luck)?

Erlan Reverol:

The game is designed to have many levels and skills to increase capabilities and power. Rovers, for example, will have stats, and some will be better at certain stats than others.

D. | Satoshi Club:

Erlan Reverol:

If a player destroys the building of a rival city using the battle system, the attacker will steal some resources from the defender. However, the defender won’t lose the building and will be able to use it as normal, after the fight.

Gameplay rewards will be news rovers, extra resources. DeFi rewards will be higher DeFi earnings.

Mary | Satoshi Club:

Thank you for your answers! Ready for the 6th and last question from this part???

Erlan Reverol:

 Yes ready.

Q6 from Telegram User @victorogb

From your website, it is stated that the Rover will most certainly be a major weapon, as players will use them to move, explore. Also, it’s stated that these Rovers are of several types which can also be minted as NFTs. With a direct emphasis on these NFTs, may we know how we could possibly turn these Rovers to NFTs on the platform, what are the fees attached to minting NFTs on Moonscape? Finally, since these Rovers (NFTs) can also be traded in the marketplace, may we know if such trades will be restricted to the Moonscape marketplace only, or are users allowed to trade them in third-party marketplaces?

Let me try that one Erlan.

As you saw from our previous answers already, Rovers are a key element of Moonscape.

Any rover will be mintable into an NFT, allowing for you to trade, swap, and much more.

As for the fees, as Moonscape is a Moonbeam exclusive game, the fees will be related to the Moonbeam network.

D. | Satoshi Club:

Btw i assume buildings and rovers can’t be upgradable forever.?? is there is some highest rank that players can reach in the game? or you don’t have any rank system?

As I know Moonbeam is a very cheap network for transactions ??

GF And concerning your last questions regarding the marketplaces of course the first choice for trading NFTs will be https://scape.store/, which will possibly be the first Moonbeam NFT store. But as the game and network progress, we will be open to expanding to other interested 3rd party NFT marketplaces.

Correct, that was one thing of strong interest for us.

D. | Satoshi Club:

Networks like this are perfect for gaming projects ??

Erlan Reverol:

This is one of the core mechanics for rovers. They won’t be automatically better than others, but the level cap for certain stats will be higher in some rovers, than the others.

D. | Satoshi Club:

 Got it!

Mary | Satoshi Club:

Guys, thank you for these detailed answers ??

Q1 from Telegram user@ashwini_Crypto

To destroy the cities, What Would users have to do?

Will it be possible to conquer the full city?

You can attack cities to get more resources for yourself, but after the attack is done the defending player will still have access to all their buildings and won’t lose their cities. So it is not possible for you to conquer the cities of others, but fully destroying them in the attack will boost your rewards.

Q2 from Telegram user @Gutike95

Could you give us details on how the community can test Moonscape and how could you help improve the game through your comments and ideas?

Erlan Reverol:

We will open a beta testing period. Players will be able to play the game and give us feedback using the links they will find in the game or social media platforms.

Q3 from Telegram user @King_Raja

The official Trailer of Moonscape looks just so awesome, what are you doing to make the Platform more engaging with different options of tasks?

Moonscape and Seascape too are actually working on re-engagement tasks such as daily and seasonal tasks for players to do and get rewards from it, so it could be anything from attacking a city to collecting some resources, etc. In the future, there will also be tasks for guilds on the Seascape and by extension the Moonscape ecosystem ??

Q4 from Telegram user @AugusS7

Could you give us details of how Moonscape converts the hard work of Many players, where they spend hours improving, updating their bases?—?vehicles, and turning it into an NFT?

Erlan Reverol:

Players will be able to improve the buildings in their cities. Each building will offer different DeFi functions, such as NFT staking, pools, etc. The higher the level of the building, the higher the earnings. In order to improve the buildings, players must play the game and use traditional gameplay functions, harvesting, exploring, battles.

Q5 from Telegram user @victorogb

The entire game plot can be summarised as; fighting for resources, scavenging, battling out with aliens and rivals, building cities, and earning rewards. With this, players will most certainly need gear and equipment to aid their quests. Can you talk more about the available equipment, Rovers, and weapons, how are players expected to obtain and improve on them as game mode progresses?

There are several things to help you, but first, you need to understand the differentiation between the pure Game and DeFi sides. The rovers come in many shapes and categories and those would help you with the game, on the opposite side you have the commanders which will help you with the DeFi side of things, similarly, moondust would help with some of the aspects of the game. Game-wise the major advantages you can get are faster resource harvesting, city defense, or attack.

Q6 from Telegram user @KeymerS

Could you give us details about the variety of groups for the P2E functions that you will have Moonscape, the types of tokens, LP, NFT, and what will your earnings depend on?

Erlan Reverol:

Specific details will be available later, but we are planning a really big amount of different pools and options, including single staking, LP staking, NFTs. But remember that in order to access such features, a new building must be built, so players will need to explore the game to have access to all of these.

Q7 from Telegram user @Arisabela

One of the features of your game is that users can build their own cities and then sell them as NFTs later, so I would like to know what increases the value of cities? Are all these resources exhaustible? How profitable is it for users to build a city from scratch and then sell it? Is there a whitepaper with all these details?

The cities increase in value as you build and upgrade the buildings in them ??. There is a maximum amount of buildings (8) but you can build several cities. There similarly is a max level but it will be very hard to achieve. So the higher-level building you have in your city, the more valuable it is. As these cities with their building provide definite advantages in both game and DeFI, they will definitely be valuable for both traditional game players who just want to be the best, as well as DeFi users.

Q8 from Telegram user @Tony253210

These days the Blockchain games require to buy their NFTs in order to play the game, so is this the case of Moonscape? Or users can obtain profits without having any NFT?

Erlan Reverol:

As mentioned, there is no need for NFT to play the game at all. To obtain profit, the defi features must be used. There is no need for NFTs to use these, but staking a Scape NFT in a building will assign that character as the commander of such building, increasing the earnings.

Q9 from Telegram user @cindy0666

Can I play Moonscape only on a stationary computer? Do you have a MOBILE APP? Or will you improve?

Erlan Reverol:

Moonscape will be available as a PC Browser game and later as a mobile app. During the beta phase probably only the PC version will be available, but having a mobile app version is on the plan.

Q10 from Telegram user @Marcos2002

If I want to Launch my project through LightHouse then What steps I should follow for the LightHouse Launch, Is I have to Complete KYC ALSO?

If you want to get your project raised on the lighthouse your best bet is to contact us through the lighthouse or in the Seascape main TG group: https://t.me/seascapenetwork

But to note that we will only help raise the best projects ?? and we want to ensure that any project or game launched through the lighthouse is something we can proudly stand behind.

In the final part, we tested your knowledge in terms of Moonscape. They’ve prepared 4 questions for this part. The total reward pool for the quiz was 300$.
