Hello trainers, welcome back to the wonderful world of Kryptomon. Hopefully you’re all as excited as we are since Phase 0 is now officially live!
If you’re one of the top 10,000 trainers, today is a big day since it’ll be the day you receive your first Kryptomon partner. Our devs have been hard at work making sure everything is ready , so we’ve prepared a checklist to guide you through everything you need to meeting your Kryptomon today.
Step 1 — Getting your egg
The moment you’ve all been waiting for, it’s time to get your Kryptomon egg! If you’ve been following our previous guides, you’ll already have your BSC wallet ready with some BNB in it to pay for gas fees. If not, make sure you check out the article here for more information.
If you’ve previously attempted to generate your own egg on the testnet, this process will feel very similar. You’ll want to start by first hopping on over to the Kryptomon website following this link.
Make sure the METAMASK wallet address you’re connecting with is the same address as the one you’ve registered when following the link in the email we sent on the 15th of June.
If done correctly, you should see in the middle of the screen a form to fill in your email address and username. This email will be used to contact you in the case of important updates while the username is how you’ll be known in the Kryptomon world!
Just click on “Get your first Kryptomon Egg” to begin. You’ll then receive two prompts (popups) from Metamask, the first will ask to approve the contract and the second to confirm the generation of the egg.
If you have enough BNB in your wallet to pay for the gas fees, you should be able to approve both of these prompts. You’ll then see a screen that looks something like this:
The process takes a few minutes since there are a lot of things happening behind the scenes — the contracts are busy generating your Kryptomon, randomly assigning the genetic traits etc. Just give it some time to do its thing and you should eventually then end up with:
Congratulations!! You are now the proud owner of your very own Kryptomon!
Remember: If you’re one of the top 100 trainers, then the above step doesn’t apply to you. As a reward for supporting us and doing so much to spread the word about Kryptomon, we’ll be airdropping your Gen 0 Kryptomon straight to your wallet!
Step 2 — Tell the world!
The best things in life are meant to be shared, so don’t miss this chance to share the happy news with everyone. ???? You’ll notice we’ve already included links to Twitter, Reddit and Facebook at the bottom of the screen so make sure you share your new Kryptomon egg with everyone!

Step 3 — Learn about your Kryptomon
With your new Kryptomon egg safely tucked away, it’s time to find out what traits your Kryptomon partner has. Is it an affectionate little tyke who just wants lots of cuddles or a hungry little monster that needs to be fed all the time? Find out on your dashboard that should look something like:

Closing Thoughts
An important thing to note is that this process is exactly the same for trainers who didn’t make it into the top 10,000 and are waiting to buy their egg on the 7th of July 2021. The only difference is that in step 1, approving the Metamask prompts will take both the gas fee and the $5 — $20 fee depending on when you purchase the egg.
