Hello folks, the temperature is falling day by day, as we sit cocooned in blankets. Let's discuss in brief the new concept that Joystream brings to blockchain. From a brief opinion I got about this exciting new kid is that it is a platform which allows content creators to create media, but not any media what it terms as accountable digital media. Now that's a big deal especially for corporate media houses and paid news channels. Accountability has become increasingly important since the rise of fake or manipulated facts and data. Currently they're offering the new users the roles of content creator, content curator, validator, council member and storage provider, apart from these in a future release of the testnet more roles will be provided. This is something akin to providing services to the entire network and thus in return the user gets paid for doing the job with cryptos. Finally in my opinion this app can in future compete with established media platforms like youtube, dailymotion and other streaming services, so guess it's worth a check out.
