Artists worldwide see more and more opportunities for their art, music, among other things. Reach more people without the need for intermediaries, preserving their copyright over them, and also quickly through the use of the web.

The pandemic has made artists have more restrictions when exhibiting their art in some museums and that the public in many parts of the world cannot travel to enjoy it, due to the confinement that must be met to protect people's lives.

At this time, this quarantine has allowed many artists to see NFTs (non-fungible tokens) as an alternative with which they can exhibit their art, retain their property rights over it and be able to reach an audience that is willing to acquire it. without the need for intermediaries. This allows the artist to have direct contact with potential buyers.

The Italian Society of Authors and Publishers (SIAE) and Algorand, have taken the initiative to create a blockchain platform with which they want to protect copyright in Italy through NFTs. This will allow the copyright to be represented on the tokens.

The blockchain that Algorand plans to create provides interoperability and capacity for a correct handling of the volume of transactions that institutions and governments need.
