I am a seasoned executive and entrepreneur, with a background in business informatics, I have managed global programs and digital transformation projects in the financial services sector. I was also an integral part of the team to establish EY’s Blockchain footprint in Switzerland. As a co-founder and former Head of Enterprise Blockchain at Swisscom, I built blockchain solutions and services for internationally renowned companies in the finance, insurance and pharma industries. Beginning of this year i joined the Journey of SubstraTEE with Alain as Developer and we founded together Integritee in April this year.

Give us a brief introduction to the project. What is the essence of Integritee Network
As for Integritee, the network enables firms and dApps to process their users’ data in a privacy-preserving manner that aids compliance with GDPR and other privacy regulations. Moreover, Integritee enables firms and dApps using its service to prove that all privacy-related requirements have been respected.
Integritee is a system that enables developers and firms to unlock the value of sensitive data. By combining the trust of Polkadot, the scalability of second-layer sidechains, and the confidentiality of Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) hardware.
Integritee solves the 3 main issues of Blockchain as of today. Its Scalability, Interoperability and Confidentiality at the same time without downsides. In addition to that, Integritee aims to power a new generation of data-driven dApps and services.
There has been a backlash, and rightly so?—?against companies who do not take or are unable to take the necessary steps to protect sensitive user data. In the past years we have seen an exponential increase in successful hacks which lead to the leaking of consumer data. This is something we want to change and create a new ecosystem of apps that are using privacy preserving technology like ours natively.

How long does it take to develop a project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from Integritee Network
Well , Alain our Co-Founder and CTO developed the solution over the past 3 years funded by several web3 grants.
Beginning of this year we decided to put this technology into a real business.
We just recently launched our mainnet and the fuel, the TEER token, and now we are ready to onboard first clients and use cases in a production ready environment.

The core team consists obviously of the management that is based in Switzerland / Germany and UK.
Its Me, Alain, Christian and Tristan.
Part of the development team is also based in Switzerland, the rest is really distributed around the globe.

From your roadmap we understand in this Q4 of 2021 is your participation in public slot aunctions on polkadot, listing on first major exchange,release of a bridge between Kusama and polkadot,release of new products for enterprises.from the above could you please tell us enthusiasts the requirements involve in participaticing in your public auntions on polkadot?what is the minimum amount of $TEER can we hold to participate? Can you also tell us the first major exchange you plan to list and when the listing will be considering there are just few days left to 2021? Kindly put us through on the rest of the plan in this quarter? Thank you
Well the plans shifted slightly, and we will first focus on winning a parachain slot on Kusama and afterwards, most probably in January or February next year focusing on a Polkadot slot.
For participating in the auctions, there is no specific TEER amount required.
You have to just at least lock 0.1 KSM to participate and support us.
Bigger exchanges will come in 2022 and will be announced when all details are settled.

Nowadays, the protection of business data (correpondence, contracts, access codes and network) is a predomintant issue in concurrential environment. Integritee is claiming to provide insights without access to sensitive data and empowers firms and developers to build broader, fairer, and more secure data platforms. Please share the products offered to businesses in details. Is Integritee able to support large international organizations with extreme daily flow of sensitive information? Is it able to protect multi language and multi code data? Do the business owners have a possibility to modify (decrease/increase) the level of protection offered? Thanks!
Yes, with the special hardware technology called TEE -Trusted Execution Environments, we are now able to secure not only data at rest or in motion, but also data in process. This is not possible with other more academical approaches like Zsnarks or ZKP.
With our scalability of up to 1’000’000 tps, due to the offchain computation, we can meet several requirements.
As of now we offer a 2nd layer solution that should enable other projects and companies to build specific solutions on top.

yes there are already several projects that have started using our technology or are going to start in the near future, just to give you some examples to understand the broad application area:
Encointer?—?Encointer is a fundamental redesign of money. Based on the principle of equal opportunity every human gets a universal basic income and a digital ID without relying on a central authority. Encointer combines the ideas of sovereign money, demurrage and local community currencies and applies blockchain technology to create the local money of tomorrow.
Litentry?—?a network which provides privacy-first, decentralized identity aggregation computing services. The aggregation of different accounts and identity data of the same person on different platforms and blockchains in a decentralized manner. Litentry is the first one to provide decentralized identity aggregation service.
Ajuna?—?Ajuna Network is a decentralized ecosystem for gamers and creators. It eases the creation of a tokenized incentive layer and provides seamless integration with modern game development environments such as Unity and Unreal. Built on Substrate, Ajuna can leverage the full potential of the Polkadot ecosystem and provide developers with a modular toolbox to build on-chain features into their games. Ajuna’s ultimate goal is to create real value for both gamers and developers by providing a fully interoperable decentralized ecosystem for games and their virtual goods.

Studying innovative projects aimed at social media and search engines in web 3.0, I notice a tendency to advertise complete blocking of data that allows you to target ads or use data for other business purposes. People don’t want to be counted and digitized. Isn’t this trend a risk for your ambitious project?

We are not against the possibility of using data in a certain way, as long as this is agreed on by the end consumer and the data processor.
We also think that the value of data if super important to improve businesses and services for consumers, but this sensitive data has to be processed in a secure and pre agreed way.
Currently the traditional systems are honey pots for hackers, we wanna solve that.

Recently, you make partnership with kusama which is a stable multi-chain network for radical innovation and early stage Polkadot deployments and you announced a referral program where we must be connected with this network to get a 5% referral reward. I would like to have more understanding about this program, what are the process to follow in order to be connected with this network? Is it that users will going buy/stake a token? You also plan to reward people that have backed you before and plan to contribute again, what is the special reward for this? Also, during your token distribution there is no allocation for providing liquidity, are you not interested in users staking your token or what is your plan for this?
yes the referral program aims to support our crowdloan campagne to win one of the parachain slot on Kusama.
to participate in the referal program, you have to actively contribute at least 0.1 KSM to our crowdloan campaign via:
https://crowdloan.integritee.network/ this process will bond the KSM for 48 weeks, in case we are winning a slot in the auctions. The reward will be distributed in TEER tokens, currently 20 TEER / 1 KSM bonded.
Currently there are no plans for staking TEER, as we have a deflationary token mechanic, but we will come up with other concepts soon.

Integritee is a decentralized based project and the existing centralized approaches to data-driven services tend to be fast and convenient but involve big compromises in terms of user privacy and data security, though some blockchains delivered some solutions like increased trust and security but involve unacceptable trade-offs in performance in which Integritee successfully bring Off-chain workers into the systems and this Off-chain workers(OCW) are not to be confused with parity substrate off-chain workers. I would like to have a clear difference between the two workers? How will OCW be effectively work in Integritee system? There was a chart used to illustrate OCW, how will this OCW be executing information from one point to other?
Well thats a super technical question that is challenging even me as a business person.
We have a section in our lightpaper that is describing this for a normal person:
Off-chain workers (OCW) are not to be confused
with Parity Substrate off-chain workers. They execute a custom state transition function or oracle service in a TEE. State transitions
are triggered through on-chain extrinsics with encrypted payloads (indirect invocation).
Indirect invocation: With indirect invocation,
a requester calls (1) a confidential dispatchable function (state transition) by
signing a trusted call and encrypting it with the worker-enclave’s shielding key. She then wraps the cyphertext into an extrinsic which she sends to the chain.
The worker forwards all new blocks to the light client (2) within the worker-enclave where the cyphertext gets decrypted and the trusted call is executed (3) on encrypted state. The call is then confirmed on the parachain
(4). The user can query (5) their own state directly at the OCW enclave subject
to authentication.
If this answer is not sufficient, i am happy to forward this to Alain our CTO and come back with a more sophisticated answer

IntegriTEE was initially known as SubstraTEE and been developing since 2018. Can you explain why it was necessary for you to rebrand from the previous name and how your vision or business scope has been affected by this? Since you have been working for sometimes now, can you share with us the level of progress made so far and when the service you are developing will be available for public deployment?
Yes sure, we have rebranded because the term substraTEE was too close to substrate, the base framework of Polkadot, and this caused always some missunderstandings. As we are serving a business purpose not only a technical purpose, we decided to rebrand to Integritee.
As mentioned before we just recently launched our mainnet and are now able to onboard the first productive use cases, that will mid and longterm not only include blockchain projects, but also traditional companies.

very good one, so currently we are working on a bridging technology, to connect Kusama and Polkadot, and at a later stage also to other ecosystems. This will be a huge milestone for the interoperability of different ecosystems, as they are currently more silos and closed ecosystems.

No we won’t, as we are a base layer technology to enable others to create solutions and serve specific use cases. But our partnership with Ajuna, will bring games to our network layer to use confidentiality and scalability of our solution.

Well we are planning to introduce decentralized governance of the plattform in 2022, and every token holder will be able to propose improvements and the direction of the network.

Integritee have token $TEER and work under POLKADOT, may us know the reason why choosing Polkadot as your chain? How about plan to bridge/have other chain?
We chose Kusama / Polkadot because it is a scalable and secure protocol that serves as the foundation for an interoperable network of blockchains and provide the basis for Web 3.0?—?a new, fully decentralized internet. For Integritee, the Polkadot Relaychain will provide public auditability.
Integritee has appeal for a broad range of enterprises accross different industries and the appeal of Trusted Execution Environment technology as a privacy preserving technology will only continue to grow as people and companies place more emphasis on data security and sovereignty and regulations shift to reflect that.
We are planning to introduce Bridges later this year and start to connect different ecosystems and make it even easier to use intergritee’s advantages. This again shows our commitment to build up an interconnected ecosystem and not to create another silo.

You have recently implemented the Integritee mainnet, which is on your roadmap. Can you give some more information for the mainnet? “We will launch it as a solo platform until we get a Kusama parachain.” What does “a solo platform” in the phrase mean?
So every substrate based project can also launch their own “solo” chain similar to Kusama and Polkadot ( which are also substrate based ).
Once we win a parachain slot, we will connect to Kusama as a parachain to get use of the security layer of the Relaychain.

What is the importance of the Trusted Execution Environments (TEE) in the Integritee ecosystem?
There are different privacy preserving technologies out there (including differential privacy, homomorphic encryption and multi party computation). Trusted Execution Environment technology is widely being regarded as the strongest of the privacy preserving technologies. TEEs provide a simple and currently unrivaled way to process sensitive data securely and confidentially. A TEE is an isolated environment that uses both special-purpose hardware and software to protect data. In general, TEEs provide a “trusted environment” inside which computations and analysis can run while remaining invisible to any other process on the processor, the operating system, or any other privileged access.
TEE can be also used standalone. The problem with that is, that its hard to convince the counterparty, that a specific data set with a specific logic is computed within the enclave, as nobody has access to the enclave. This is where we combine a public LEDGER to provide a registry for public audit ability, to prove what’s running inside the “blackbox”, and that’s a game changer.
Data protection and privacy regulations are becoming ever stricter?—?a trend we believe will continue, and rightly so! From both a regulatory and a consumer perspective there will be more demand for privacy focused applications in the very near future.

Can you explain some details of the $TEER token’s metrics and management model? What is the role of $TEER in the platform ecosystem? What are your strategies for organic growth of $TEER token that can generate income for long-term token holders and investors?
The value of the TEER token is driven by demand for Integritee technology. We know demand is high?—?as we can show by the number of interesting partnerships we are exploring in and out of the blockchain space. As demand continues to grow the value of the token will increase in the long term.
Our intermediary framework also allows for our technology to become accessible to enterprises outside the blockchain space. The TEER token has been designed so that its value will reflect this core competitive advantage, thereby linking the value of an off-chain technology with an on-chain token.
Integritee will have a single native token, the TEER, that can freely float among multiple parachains.
A revenue burning function burns a fraction of each fee paid to the treasury. This implies that the overall TEER token supply is deflationary. In a nutshell: Each time a user pays for Integritee’s service with TEER tokens, a fraction of the fees are burned. The number of TEER tokens received by the treasury is reduced
and the total TEER token supply becomes smaller and so the price of the TEER token will increase as its supply decreases.
