Infura on bug : Ethereum on halt

Do repost and rate:

On 11 Nov 2020, Infura, Ethereum's infrastructure provider encountered with the bug on the block number 11234873, this caused several crypto exchanges to suspend the withdrawal of Ethereum and ERC-20 tokens.

Many DApps and Exchange protocols use Infura ,as the number 1 node of the Ethereum , for their transaction processing and distribution to Ethereum mainnet. Once the bug happened against Infura, it caused the transaction on halt and delay. Many exchanges launched the Breaker to their clients until the bug has been fixed.

This reflects that we are not exactly in the Pure Decentralized ecosystem , but we are completely and maintain in the Centralized circle. There are many operators relying on the Infura's stability and service, but when it crashed, operators have no idea on how to cope with this, the problem finally goes to their clients.

Most likely to believe that confirming the transaction on the Ethereum requires Full Node running, but this is not true. They could have their own Pruned Node to get the transactions confirmed on the Ethereum directly instead of relying on the 3rd party. If DApps and Exchanges could do this, we will be moving to a pure peer-to-peer ecosystem.
