As of today, I have about $3000 in my ETH wallet spread over multiple different ERC-20 tokens that gradually increased their price. Unfortunately, they are so many that trading all of them or moving them to exchange will cost probably more than their whole value. Some of the teams behind those tokens started looking for a solution by migrating to BINANCE smart chain. - such as Hydro and BAT(there are probably others). However, this is currently still not feasible for the small amounts I have.
You probably would agree that trading $80 of tokens and paying a $30-40 USD transaction fee is far from ideal. Currently, those assets are locked as hostages in my wallet. As far as I am aware this is expected to be resolved with the arrival of ETH 2.0 sometime in the next 2 years. Until that time I plan to keep holding those tokens.
I doubt that I am the only person having this issue. How do you guys handle this? Anyone can provide any tips?
