I bought a house in Cleveland and one in Chicago… on Upland. Does anyone own anything on Upland?

I’m not much of a gamer but I am a crypto envagelist, and one of the few games I actually liked was [The] Sims. I learnt about the existence of Upland, a platform/game where you can own properties on the EOS blockchain and I immediately decided to give it a go.

So far, I’ve invested $9.98 to buy 10,000 UPX (not to be confused with the token of the same name), and I gained about 5,000 with a referral code I used, which gave me around 15,000 UPX to buy properties.

As it turns out, 15,000 is not a lot of cash and I could only afford some random solo houses in Chicago and Cleveland, the ownership of the virtual property is verified on the Eos blockchain.

I’m still trying to figure out how the whole things work but I do know you can make actual dollars (which I would immediately convert to crypto anyway) with virtual properties. I just don’t know how. Yet.
