Hello everyone, the new year 2022 has already started and will bring many innovations in the crypto industry with it. So do us, and here it started with the 1st Hydro Development Update of this year.

Aegir Wallet

The team was working on bug fixing and rapid testing was done internally then the latest build has been uploaded on the Play Store. Have refactored few UI front-end side changes like label/button alignment, positioning, and padding.

Fingerprint functionality was working improperly, so using an alternate solution, now it is working perfectly fine. Also, few options have been given to choose the time interval thereafter biometric security verification is needed.

Functionality of exporting transactions have been improved. With this feature, xlsx files can be generated in the download folder. This file holds transaction histories like, From and To wallet address, token types, amount of tx, and the type of tx whether it is sent or received.

Polygon Deployment

As per the Roadmap, work of deploying Hydro on the Polygon Network has been started. The team was preparing contracts of Hydro token, Snowflake protocol, and Identity protocol to be deployed on it.

Deployment of Hydro token on Polygon’s testnet- Mumbai was completed successfully, and it is available . Soon we will be deploying Hydro Token on Polygon mainnet so that we can use it to make final tests on the bridge before releasing it to the public.

HydroSwap V2

Work on HydroSwap V2 is almost completed, but our developers- Carl and Ayushya are reviewing it and found some things that need to be worked on before releasing it to the public, which is mainly about design and IDO though.

Regarding IDO/ IFO, there are some discussions ongoing about how it will affect our yield farming liquidity pool or on droplet tokens, their minting/burning ratios and total circulating supply.

HydroBridge

Developers have started updating HydroBridge to support Polygon Network. For that worked on the frontend and backend side of the bridge, and on a couple of other services like fetching price, sending tokens to address, verifying the receipt of token transfer, etc.

Have successfully deployed a backend bridge on testnet. Also set up a development environment on a remote server, so that we can evaluate it when deployed remotely, and later it can be integrated with our frontend.

part of the bridge is also completed as well as thoroughly tested with the backend and the swap contracts of the testnet version. After evaluating the backend, we have made several changes for the testnet version to make it work in parallel with the mainnet version.

The team is also working on some sort of code boilerplate for standardizing the implementation process of EVMs, which should help us greatly in the future for integrating other Blockchains.

  • R&D is necessary before developing anything. So, the developers are researching the 1155 implementation on polyscan to see how it can be used in KeresVerse, and the logic codebase for the JavaScript part of the KeresVerse.
  • Whitepaper: Work of completing KeresVerse’s whitepaper or gitbook is ongoing, the main text part is already produced. But apart from the text, we’re also thinking of integrating the flow chart of the Smart Contracts in it. Thereafter, this first draft will be reviewed by the whole team, and then will be deployed on KeresVerse
  • Tokenomics: Tokenomics is the heart of any crypto projects. So does in KeresVerse as it is an important part of the platform. Work is ongoing on the cooperation between hi-tech and magical abilities in the meta of KeresVerse, which will be heavily played into the tokenomics of the platform.
  • On the frontend (JavaScript) side of the game, there will be a need for several interfaces for users to interact with the underlying smart contracts, which will produce an effect for them in the KeresVerse. Interfaces like Casino, Marketplace or Battle Arena will begin to see daylight. React versions of these interfaces can be evaluated with the testnet Keres Token contracts. Currently setting up the minting contracts on testnet, so as soon as it completes, we can progress to the NFT interfaces afterwards.
  • Contracts: On the backend (Solidity) side of the game, we are thinking and working on the Minting contracts and how their relation to the Staking hydro contracts will be, like how yield reward will be distributed to each stacker and fix the yield curve to obtain the total supply of the NFTs that aren't spendable.
  • Game Demo: Working on internal demo of UE4 (Ultra Engine) game. It will take some time, because we have faced some blockages on M1 architecture during compilation stages. We are trying to resolve these issues and simultaneously we would be checking if the same issues persist on the Intel based architecture or not.
  • Public Repository: Whipping up hack build of the open world part of KeresVerse like moving these map-based interfaces from concept to reality. So, we are keeping an initial repo setup where the JavaScript code and all the contracts and react interfaces are collected. This will allow us to easily start the new frontend developer, as they by themselves will be able to set up branches to work from and once finished it can be simply merged into the main branch.
