How To Pre-Approve a Smart Contract From Explorer

Do repost and rate:

When you claim an airdrop, you may need to pre-approve the smart contract from the explorer. What is the benefit of this? When there are large numbers of transactions, the network can become congested and queue up transactions. At this point it becomes really difficult to execute the various smart contracts. However, you may pre-approve some of these operations.

This will allow us to have to do one less operation during the claim phase. Obviously you will need to know the contract of the token you will have to claim (watch out for scam!).

Let's see how to do it with an example, analyzing the Arbitrum smart contract. Let's go to the chain explorer and look for the address.

For example, if I have to make the ARB claim on the Arbitrum chain, I will look for the ARB token in the chain explorer.

In this case we have: 0xc4ed0a9ea70d5bcc69f748547650d32cc219d882

If I need another token, I'll search for this token and so on.

Then go down under the heading "write as proxy", then press on the address indicated as "implementation contract".

We also go down here and click on "write contract"; after that we connect our wallet (Metamask for example) by pressing the "Connect to Web3" button. Now we go down by clicking on the first point of the list of operations that can be performed, ie approve (0x095ea7b3).

Here we will have to enter the address of our wallet under the heading "", also indicating the amount you want to approve (0xFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF is the maximum spending limit).

At this point we just need to press the blue "" button and approve the transaction. Finally, here we will have to select the spending limit that can be withdrawn from our wallet. This simple operation serves to pre-approve the smart contract allowing you to save time when you have to claim your airdrop! Use this feature, only if you know what you're doing!

Arkham airdrop was from a few thousand dollars to hundreds of thousands of dollars. It was enough to register an email and then the address. Basically, these are intra-chain analysis and intelligence sites (tracking of on-chain movements). Six other similar sites have opened whitelists where you just need to enter your email. Someone is hinting that they could perform an airdrop like Arkham so I suggest you sign up by entering your email (you can also use secondary mail):
