How to create a Bitcoin circular economy

I think firstly, the idea of getting sats must be nuanced. Right now, founders of start-up companies exhort us to use their products, proclaiming that the sats they offer are easy to get with minimal effort. While that is true, it creates a problem in that Bitcoiners can’t take these products seriously. I mean, as much as I want to accumulate sats, I can’t help feeling silly when I use sites like satsforlikes or litstak. I mean, I’m grateful for those petty sats, but when I take into consideration how invaluable my time is, it’s thanks but not thanks for me. So what I mean by a more layered idea of getting sats is that other than satsforlikes and litstak, there are other sites out there that pay a cool 3000 or 5000 sats for quality work submitted. (in actual fact, 3000-5000 sats aren’t a lot actually but they do brighten up my day on the rare occasion I rack up such amounts.)

In addition, in order for a BTC circular economy to occur, these apps gotta work flawlessly. Right now, I can’t access my sats from sMiles because it won’t verify my mobile number. I don’t know why an error persists when I want to withdraw sats from Vestly. I have given Fountain a go 2-3 times but never once have I been able to earn sats from it. So, coupled with “cheap” sats, the problem of the unreliability of some apps in generating sats is a turn-off.

I actually think that Stacker News works very well as a model. Not necessarily because I get many zaps here but because it generously distributes the zaps to us Stackers from its advertising revenue. It’s affirming to see myself being rewarded with sats just by tipping others. It encourages people to be more generous in zapping because they wanna benefit from the win-win situation. It’s something that Heyapollo can look into. Right now, they want to rely on their users to zap other people’s reviews but come on, how many people will be committed to zapping others? So I feel that Stacker News ennobles me as a content creator.
