I've been trying to sound the alarm on Lost Relics as loud as I can because I see the hard work being put in here and think this game has a major future. If you aren't into TCGs the Play2Earn scene can sometimes feel like a lot of the games are missing gameplay. Lost Relics doesn't have that problem, at all. While It's still early in it's timeline Lost Relics already has everything you expect from a fleshed out RPG.
By that I mean:
Missions
Cool Gear
Crafting
Daily Quests
Marketplaces
That's really just the tip of the iceberg here and we are are the very beginning of what I expect to be a wild ride lasting for years. The real game changer here is going to be the introduction of co-op play which the team have confirmed is store. But what can a new player do NOW to set themselves up for success as the games updates roll out?
Even if you don't have the skill to play anything more complicated or difficult than the first mission you can still be moving forwards in Lost Relics due to the extremely generous daily quest system. The days you are really targeting here are days 5 and 7. These are your major paydays!
There is really no need for fancy equipment of strategy when you are playing the simple dungeons to get a quick daily quest here, which is our goal. Here I have a loadout set that has no major expenses. All the weapons are simple uncommon equipment and the fish are .... fish.
Personally I like to run Arcane Pits when I need to complete a mission quickly. If you know a few tricks of the trade all of the major dangers can be avoided and, with perfect timing, you can even clear it using the katana. I love playing Samurai and seeing how quickly I can complete the dungeon with minimal healing used!
Before long you'll find yourselves standing before the dungeon exit with a bar full of new items, a heavier coin purse, and a completed daily quest! But how fast?
Just over 6 minutes! Wow! That only leaves us with a couple minutes left to keep out playtime under the 10 minutes mentioned in the title so lets take a quick look at the item we got as a quest reward.
The Mysterious Scroll is just that. You can read it to find all manner of rewards! Personally, I like to avoid the randomization and now I just sell them as often as I get them in most cases. 3500 gold isn't anything to shake a stick at!
The marketplace is our next visit and, well ... you are going to want the use the gold gained by selling the Scroll to buy into an asset and start trading up as best you can. I could and should write a 10 page guide on Lost Relics unique order-book style market and how to best leverage it. For now I'll leave you with the above picture. The important thing to note here is that those two orders were both open and doing business at the exact same time. If you can figure out how to be buying and item low and selling it high at the exact same time like this you'll be swimming in gold in no time!
But what if you are less patient and feeling more of an all or nothing type mood? Well, simply put, Legendary items in Lost Relics sell of a metric ass-ton of real life currency. It's not at all uncommon to see some of the more rare items in this game selling for tens of thousands of dollars each!
One of the ways that even the most impoverished noob can dream of someday wielding one of these mighty weapon is through the weekly raffles. Now, I don't want to paint with too broad a brush, but I've noticed whales in these spaces avoid RNG and randomization like it's the plague. This means most of them are likely to avoid things like raffles and giveaways. If you are the type of player who feels lucky you can get a ticket in the local tavern for the low cost of 100 gold!
This is less of a flex and more of me providing some proof that this strategy is sound. I've been playing Lost Relics for months and never have a spent any time grinding unless that is what I was looking to do. I built up from a free to play gamer and, at the moment, I'm not running a pendant at all!
There is a huge myth going around that the great items in Lost Relics have all already been dropped and 'the easy money has been made', This makes me laugh for a variety of ways but, it also annoys me. I hope todays lesson has demonstrated that there is nothing stopping you from building a fortune in lost relics with a little planning, patience, and 10 minutes a day.
