Since Harvest first launched its Jarvis farms on the Polygon blockchain the inflows have been huge! In just a few short days 3 of the farms have over $1 million USD in value and the 4th has $250,000 USD! Not bad at all when the rest of the farms in the Polygon blockchain combined only have a little over $2 million in value!
Jarvis is a much different type of DeFi platform than I am used to as it deals with Forex trading. Also, it is going to run a lot shorter than what I am used to as it is only running until December 1st when the contract expires! For those two months though the rewards for farmers will be pretty huge! In total 5 tokens are distributed PER farm something I never imagined happening! Both platforms are contributing towards the rewards with Harvest providing iFARM emissions and MATIC while Jarvis is providing $3,000 boosts for each farm and 50,000 JRT tokens for all vaults!
As it stands right now the yields for the farms are yielding really healthy amounts! The Euro-based farm EUR-USDC is yielding 70.60% APY. This is broken down with 62% AUR, 1.3% miFARM, 2.7% wMATIC, 2% JEUR, and 2.2% JRT. For the GBP farm, GBP-USDC, the yield is 77.15% APY. Broken down this comes down to 64.68% AUR, 2.00% miFARM, 4.02% wMATIC, 3.07% JGBP, and 3.38% JRT. The Switzerland based farm CHF-USDC is yielding 80.50% 70.30% in AUR, 1.6% miFARM, 3.3% wMATIC, 2.5% JCHF and 2.7% JRT. Finally, we have the AUR farm, AUR-USDC, yielding 258.19% broken down to 219.71% AUR, 8.19% miFARM, 16.46% wMATIC, and 13.83% JRT rewards!
While I have not seen anything to indicate one way or another I wonder if this will be a partnership that will be renewed once the contract expires on the 1st of December. Even with paired back rewards, the results for farmers would be great. While Polygon has much cheaper fees simplifying the steps will be key to future growth and adaptation.
