Harvest Finances development team has been going bonkers since the launch of the BINANCE Smart Chain. Not only do they continue to update it but they are also adding new farms to the Ethereum branch of Harvest! The Binance Chain is expanding so fast I feel like each week they launch a new farm that I fall in love with and want to partake in only for a new one to be added a couple of days later!
That being said the Binance chain is now up to 31 farms total across roughly 9 different platforms depending on how the development team decides to combine them. With the launch just happening earlier this month, it is rather remarkable to see. Now the fun part though which farm should one chose!?!? Honestly, it is hard to go wrong but what it boils down to is the risk to reward ratio you are willing to take. With that being said and the vast array of options to build my Binance DeFi holdings off of I came to the conclusion of farming CAKE.
I had several reasons for chocing this farm over others and one of the biggest if not the biggest is that CAKE is PanCakeSwaps native currency. With Pancake being the biggest decentrialized exchange on the chain its native token has staying power and backing for its continued use. Its farming yield should be solid for the foreable future due to the usage of it on PancakeSwap and how it is supported.
Due to how future farms will be launched or syrupt pools as they call them a pairing of CAKE-BNB is needed to deposit. With BNB being so expensive like it currently is and CAKE being a $25 token it is a much better alternative to BNB that has just as much utilization! Getting CAKE is also super straight forward as you easily aquire it on PancakeSwap so their are minimual transations invovled thus saving a little bit of BNB. All of the farms on the BSC farm so well look spectacular and really I do not know where you could go wrong.
I chose CAKE for this reason for the much easier ability to swap it out for something else on PancakeSwap whenever a new farm might perk my interest. Happy farming to everyone!
