These tutorials are designed not only to show new players the ropes, but also to explain individually the various complex aspects of the game. Splinterlands is easy to join and simple to learn, but endlessly difficult to master. No matter how involved you have been in Splinterlands, there is almost always something you have not yet discovered.
These short tutorial videos will be released and shared gradually. The first four in the series are already live on the SPLINTERLANDS Youtube channel. They are:
1. Getting Started - This video explains how to sign up and start earning rewards.
2. Key Management - One of the golden rule of blockchains: Your keys, your crypto. But with keys come great responsibility.
3. Navigation Bar Basics - This video goes through the various tabs in the Splinterlands navigation bar.
4. Dark Energy Crystals - Dark Energy Crystals are the main in-game currency of Splinterlands. They are even transferable in and out of the game from the Hive-Engine Exchange.

Welcome to the Splinterlands!
Let's get started! To open an account click PLAY NOW or LOG IN. Then CREATE ACCOUNT.
You'll be asked to come up with a username that will be used across the HIVE blockchain and can never be changed. Choose Wisely.
Now...Check Availability… if it's a go you'll be prompted to enter an email and a new password. It's free. It's easy. And now you're ready to play!
To start earning rewards you'll need to purchase your SUMMONER's SPELLBOOK found on the SHOP page.
It's a one-time fee of $10 that activates your ability to OWN, BUY, TRADE, LEASE and EARN digital assets within the game.
You can pay with Paypal, a Credit Card or Crypto!
When you have paid for the account you can request your KEYS. Don't lose them!!! These keys are for all apps built on the blockchain. So whether you're playing Splinterlands, trading, or engaging socially you'll need this key for everything you do on HIVE.
Once your Summoner's Spellbook is unlocked you can manage your collection, trade cards, battle, fight in tournaments, join a guild, and explore the lore of the Splinterlands!
