There many new gaming designs and concepts out there and all have there own style of playing, but there is a new "game changer" that will be introduced later this year, and it's called Genopets.
This new type of Free-to-Play, Move-to-Earn gaming concept it is quite ingenious and the developers encourage you this way to actually "GO OUTSIDE AND MOVE!" and not to have a sedentary life style-gaming action in the front of a computer or on your phone! :D lol

I do not know how exited you guys are but for a person with family or a person that works 10-12 hours working day, this sequence of Free 2 Play + Play 2 Move + Move 2 Earn can be the winning combo of the year, and I would say that this is mostly because a game like this has never been designed, where your wearable gadgets like smartwatches and fitness trackers or just your mobile sensors can make the in-game pet to evolve by gaining XP.
WOW! That's what I call gaming in real life implementation! There is no need of actual play to kill monsters or battle other pets in order to get XP. You go to work, your gadget is recording your movements, then after your work you will see the results and evolve your pet. If not enough XP then next working day will get enough of it and voila, your pet is level up.
I do not want to offend the creators of Axie Infinity but the GENE pets are really cute and quite cool as well.
So after the pets evolved to a specific level (not sure yet what are the minimum requirements because it's not written in their white paper) they can start to battle with other players pets in a pvp arena or AI monsters in a pvm dungeon type of place. I am not sure if there will be a "free roaming" for the pets to explore and battle with monsters. Maybe will be implemented later on or maybe never? We will see I guess...
After your pet is evolved you can sell it or buy an habitat to get even more profit out of him and by using some token formula, like GENE + Ki (which the latter is an in-game only type of currency) you can create your own lab to make crystals. The crystals, let's say fire crystal, can be augmented into your per to get a fire attack and fire like appearance (not sure about fire resistance though because it is not stipulated yet) and so on. This attribute is for a small duration and is not permanent.
There are also a few types of habitats that your pet can evolve and/or you can create those crystals, in the habitat's lab. You still have to maintain it constantly with the crystals because otherwise it will get ruined and you won't be able to create anymore crystals. Logic right? I'm wondering if there is a limited selection of habitats where you can chose to buy or you can design them yourself...
The game tokenomics are also quite interesting where you can actually double your profits, either by:
a) Simply evolve pets and sell them on the market place as NFTs,
b) Or, by simply purchasing an habitat, then literally playing the game (battling), creating crystals and evolve habitats then sell them for profit.
The roadmap is straight forward and I also wanted to involve in the early adoption and testing but, apparently I did not get any Genesis Pets... I Don't know why, and they do not let us know the reason for not being selected for their testnet... Maybe it has to do with previous experience? If you guys did some early testing in other games let me know down in the comment, I'm quite curious to know some opinions...
So yeah an awesome game is about to come soon and in my estimation it will boom this type of genre in the gaming industry. If not the game then it's native token GENE, which is by the way, already around 8.3 USD at today's price.
So what do you guys think, is this game the Axie Infinity killer or maybe is just another game that won't get to much popularity in the near future?
