Nifty Gateway, a non-fungible token marketplace recently acquired by Winklevoss-led crypto exchange Gemini, announced the relaunch of its platform and marketplace on Tuesday.

According to the announcement, US-based users can now purchase NFTs on the revamped marketplace with USD and direct bank account transfers.

With the launch of the platform also comes a renewed focus on working with prominent artists and brands to generate exclusive NFT collections (Nifty Gateway calls them “nifties”). The current plan is to release new collections every 3 weeks on Thursdays.

“We strongly believe there are a very large number of people who should and will be making NFTs that their audience can collect — they simply don’t understand the technology, and until now their audience had no easy way to access the NFTs they made,” said the Nifty Gateways team.

The current collections available for purchase include select works from Michael Kagan, a boombox collection from Lyle Owerko and a sports collection from popular MMA fighter Cris Cyborg.

Nifty Gateway was acquired by Gemini back in November for an undisclosed amount.
