Gas fees continue to spike. I've seen fees of over $100 dollars per transaction. This leaves me at a total loss when it comes to the hot wallets I have. It should never take that much money to get a transaction processed.
What's gonna happen. In the short term I'll keep waiting but the truth is my faith in Ethereum wavers day after day. I've got a stake in other coins and I'm glad I redistributed my portfolio. My top picks to win the war if Ethereum fails will be both Polkadot and Ethereum.
This bull cycle will help define the trajectory of crypto in many ways. Bitcoin is the only clear long term winner, after that the landscape can always change. If by the end of 2023 we do not see a visible improvement in Ethereum I may do the unthinkable and trade in my portion of ETH into a more successful project. It's sad really, even to this day if I think about altcoins I think Ethereum but that day may end soon and I'm prepared to make the necessary moves in order to stay up to date with the latest and greatest when it comes to crypto.
