Gala games is one of the popular publisher ecosystem for the blockchain games. A lot of interesting developers and the games are hosted on their platform and they seem to be growing their gala token across their game lineups. And now they are expanding to multiple chains from here onwards. You may notice that Gala has the new token on the Ethereum chain, which is upgraded version of the Gala token with name GalaV2.
A lot of token improvements are in place. And the gala is in process of making the Ethereum upgrade a success now that they are expanding across chains.
There are two changes to watch out though:
1. Token drop on 15th May
2. Removing the stake out of liquidity pool before 15th so airdrop happens in wallet.
Token drop is happening and that's a good thing. Considering those who want to take advantage of this new upgrade would want to connect their their personal wallet and have the staked tokens back into this again.
This is something required for those who have their stakes locked in the liquidity pool. And that means we have to take that out in order to get the airdrops work. As most of the airdrops are 1:1 based on what we have in the personal wallet.
Just hold your tokens in the wallet and there is nothing more to do from your end. Removing it from stakes and liquidity pools would only make things easier for you to get the airdrops.
