Over the last few days I drew a lot of pictures. Mostly sketches and lots of those. It's ridiculous for me to even try to mint them all but . . . once in a while I get an itch that turns out to be something quite a lot bigger than I thought at first.
But I'm already deep into the thought process that I keep on scratching. I get the initial work done while scratching away at just how far I can go. Originally it was just a pack of sketches to reward DHC holders with a way for them to spend a little and get a lot
As I turned the physical art into Digital Art Cards on the WAX blockchain I thought about how to sell these. How cheap should I go? What's the price of WAX vs DHC anyways? Oh, that low? Whoops. . . . well let's go with 50 DHC. Less than 1 WAX per pack.
Now how many should I sell? How can I generate a bit of fomo for this? Hmmmmm . . . well let's put a time limit on how long the sale is for. About 5 or 6 days. Why? Gives me time to do the work while promoting the sale. What will building fomo do?
My hope is that new collectors and old will see the value of buying up some DHC on Alcor or Tacoswap and then bring the value of DHC up. It might work, might not, not sure but I learn as I do. Besides, I give away the DHC in the discord so there is no lose. right
At the very least DHC holders will see the value of the coin go up or be able to buy something they can flip for wax. WINS! Find the ultra rare DHC Explorer Card and make a quick flip. Now what else can I do to encourage sales and build even more FoMo ?
What if I say that the packs will be pre-minted and only available to be opened on the Monday following the last day of the sale. Preminted is cool because you get equal chance at low mint no matter when you open. What if there was a small wax prize for each mint #1?
Well that's one idea. Another is to begin a crafting game. We gotta get rid of dupes so . . . what if we get a more exclusive better sketch Digital Art Card if you blend a few together? And then Blend those together for an even more rare full colour version and then .
Make that last part a race to own the Redeemable Digital Art Collectible. Own that and you would own the actual physical artwork and one day I would mail it to you. Or you'd sell it for a big stack of WAX and someone else would own it Or my value rises even more...
and suddenly that Redeemable is worth 100x because it's attached to the physical artwork because I minted it on the WAX blockchain. Does that help build fomo about DHC and a silly unnecessary (to some) Digital Art Collectible Series? Seems a little old school right?
The last thing to help build the fomo? Tell your community in discord and then create a long thread on twitterX to come up the rest of the ideas on how to build this into a project.
