For about the past month, I have been messing around with the Bitcoin Cash Giveaway app, developed by software developer Bitcoin Aliens. I don't mean to sound like a shill but who doesn't like some free crypto? Yes, that was a referral link mashed into my opening line there. No, I don't have any shame when it comes to that, as you can tell by the footer in all of my blog posts. Let's move on.

Bitcoin Cash Giveaway app gives you a chance every hour to earn spins by watching video ads. The spins will then give you a random amount of satoshis on the prize board. So whenever I get a chance, which is usually 3-4 times a day, I find myself halfway watching goofy ads for games, crypto exchanges, and sketchy prize apps in exchange for random amounts of BCH.

The amounts awarded are inconsequential. I mean really. The "jackpoint" prize of 50,000 satoshis, which based on today's prices translates to a nickel.

But the developers know they're tiny amounts. They want the users to open up the app multiple times a day, to rack up as many satoshis as possible. After all, the jackpot may be only five cents. But does a nickel have the feature of volatility? That it may be worth five cents today, but could be worth a dime or even a quarter in the future? It may even drop to a penny! Such is the nature of cryptocurrencies.

Anyways, I came very close to winning the jackpot tonight. As you can see, I hit the second highest amount, which despite its low value was actually quite exciting and gave me a nice dopamine rush!

So again, not to sound too much like a shill, here's some proof of payment from the Bitcoin Cash Giveaway app. I believe I have posted a PoP for this particular app before, but here's my two most recent ones side-by-side with my Trust Wallet transaction log:

Seriously, they are not paying me to write this blog. But, if you do know some developers who are paying bloggers to do a write-up on their app, please let me know. I could use the money!

All kidding aside, I hope that everyone enjoys the rest of 2022 and the final week brings about good health and happiness to all!
