Former American football quarterback Eli Manning and his ex-NFL quarterback brother Peyton are planning to release a collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The football legends seek to debut the NFT collection on digital art marketplace MakersPlace.

The brothers will launch eight digital art pieces named Manning Legacy Collection on the 16th of April. The collection will capture some memorable events in Eli and Peyton’s careers. Some of these moments include Peyton’s “Omaha” catchphrase and Eli’s iconic super bowl pass to David Tyree.

Eli said:

“I think it’s really about telling your story through art. The fun part was actually creating the pieces, creating the art, and now hopefully other people get to enjoy it as well.”

Some of the works will also pay tribute to the Manning brothers’ charitable work and their father, Archie.

Also, some collectors will be able to receive physical artwork and signed memorabilia. Some collectors will also experience virtual meet-and-greets with the Super Bowl champion QBs.

Upon successful sale, the brothers will commit a part of the proceeds into the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. A portion will also go to Tackle Kids Cancer

Lately, the NFT space has been bubbling with individuals and institutions making their debuts in the sector. Luxurious fashion brand Gucci and Playboy entertainment magazine are some of the latest companies seeking to launch their NFTs.
