This tutorial will cover how you can easily farm your $XVS and $VAI at Harvest Finance via BINANCE Smart Chain.
Before we begin, there are few things you might need to go over if you are new to the Binance Smart Chain;
- First, you need to install a METAMASK wallet.
- Second, you will need to hook MetaMask up to the Binance Smart Chain.
- Third, you will need to onboard some Ethereum based assets onto the Binance Smart Chain.
- Fourth, you will need to purchase $XVS and $VAI. The second section in this tutorial covers how to purchase Binance Assets through PancakeSwap. Instead of buying $DAI, replace that with either $XVS or $VAI.
Once you have all of them sorted and have either $XVS or $VAI, you can go ahead with this tutorial.
Head over to Harvest Finance. Next, connect your MetaMask wallet to the Binance Smart Chain section on the homepage.
Farming $XVS On Harvest Finance
The $XVS farming is located in the “Venus” category;
Farming $XVS is pretty straightforward. First, enter the amount of $XVS you would like to use for yield farming - you could also hit the "MAX" button to entire with all your $XVS holdings. Once you have entered the amount of $XVS, hit "Deposit";
This will bring up the first of a series of MetaMask windows asking for different permissions. The first MetaMask is asking for permision to spend your $XVS. Note the fee and hit “Confirm”;
Once that transaction has been mined, the second MetaMask window appears, asking you to confirm the deposit into Harvest Finance. Again, hit "Confirm";
Once that transaction has been confirmed, the third MetaMask window will appear asking for permission to spend $bfXVS. This part is required to be able to stake your earned tokens. If you are happy to go ahead, hit "Confirm";
After this transaction has been confirmed, the fourth and final MetaMask window will appear, asking for permission to “Stake” your assets. Hit "Confirm" again if you are happy with the fee;
After that transaction has been confirmed you are officially using your $XVS to earn a yield in $bFARM on Harvest Finance through the Binance Smart Chain.
Farming $VAI On Harvest Finance
Farming $VAI on Harvest Finance is pretty much the same as farming $XVS. However, you just need to go to the Binance Smart Chain $VAI section instead. Again, it is located in the Venus Category;
The procedure is the same as described above. Just enter the total value of $VAI you would like to farm with and hit “Deposit.” Then accept all of the four MetaMask notification windows that appear and you will be using $VAI to yield farm on Harvest Finance.
