Exorde: Don't believe what you want until you know what you need

This phrase belongs to the physicist Robert Victor Jones, who is called the father of British scientific and technical intelligence. Among other things, during the Second World War, Jones engaged in disinformation, deliberately sending false information to the Nazis. He noticed that we often tend to trust information if it is consistent with our own beliefs, especially if the topic is highly emotional. If something confirms our point of view, we are ready to consider it as a fact and make a decision based on it, and rather dismiss contradictory information.

Is it possible to distinguish truth from fake? Sure, but it's getting harder and harder to do so. Several factors play into the hands of the lie, such as the emergence of completely unbelievable technologies and the training of users to believe even in obvious lies. Experts also note that people are more likely to believe in lies when there is a shortage of time required to evaluate information and carefully verify it.

How to deal with it? Do not avoid other people's opinions, do not be afraid of criticism of your judgments - remind yourself that this is not an attempt to offend you, but only a different point of view. Learn to argue ecologically, listen to arguments, because this is how truth is born; if we all agreed with each other, there would be no progress. Do not trust only one source of information, choose different authors, books, blogs, find studies. Finally, develop critical thinking and learn to see and accept diversity.

But today, in the age of technology, any information is very often characterized by unverified facts and a lack of originality, so the fight against them becomes even more difficult. Complicating the situation is the fact that today it is very easy and cheap to create disinformation: it is enough for a person to have a digital platform available. Thus began the battle of artificial intelligence (AI), fraud and cybersecurity.

“Artificial intelligence technologies are completely open today, and devices for receiving and processing data are miniaturizing and getting cheaper,” says Yuri Vilsiter, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Head of the GosNIIAS department. “Therefore, it is highly likely that in the near future, not even the state and large corporations, but simply private individuals will be able to eavesdrop and spy on us, as well as manipulate reality. In the coming years, it will be possible, by analyzing user preferences, to influence him through news collections and very skillful fakes.

Deepfake technologies based on Deep Learning (deep learning technologies for neural networks) are already a real threat. Video or audio fakes are created by editing or superimposing the faces of famous people who supposedly pronounce the necessary text and play the right role in the plot.

Scams of this kind make celebrity images associated with scams or advertised merchandise, and this is where personal brand damage comes into play. It turns out that currently existing technologies make it possible to create an individual news picture filled with fake news. Moreover, it will be possible to distinguish fakes from real video and audio only by hardware, i.e. using the same AI.

What do we have today? That the correlation between news dissemination and quality assurance is broken. And many organizations and communities are working on creating projects to make it easier to recognize fake content. One such project is an ecosystem called Exorde, built around a core platform that provides objective assessments of trust in information based on a community and an artificial intelligence module. The idea of ??the project is to track the spread of information through the entire Internet network in real time. The goal of the project is to find the source of viral information in its original form, before this information becomes viral.

Exorde is run by its DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) and uses community votes and polls. Management will be decentralized among all members of the community. Collectively, they will be able to change the internal rules and parameters of the systems (rewards, limits, delays, scheduling, etc.) and will have a built-in reputation system. These mechanisms are designed to continually align the interests of the community and its governance for the benefit of Exorde.

The Exorde Work Systems are the core component and will serve as the base layer for the entire ecosystem. Exorde is based on four main parameters:

Ethereum is an open source platform that allows developers to create and deploy decentralized applications on it.

Skale is an elastic sidechain network connected to the Ethereum chain, acting as an execution layer. It is a scalable and elastic environment that provides high transaction throughput.

Filecoin - decentralized storage system data, which intends to replace the expensive and inefficient servers of Google and Amazon.

NLP is an artificial intelligence module that will work with unstructured text.

In addition, the Exorde Labs team is proud to announce the launch of the Testnet, which will consist of four stages:

This is just the beginning of the Exorde journey, and even the Testnet journey itself!

Stage 1: Initial observation, where the Exorde Labs team will be the only participant to check that everything works well enough and the system is stable enough. This phase should last ~7 days.

Stage 2: Gradual opening of Testnet for beta testers. The team will release web scraping modules (only compatible with Windows, Linux and Mac for now later this summer) to participate in Testnet. A web dashboard will be provided to track network activity, statistics and URLs. This phase should last 1 month.

Stage 3: Consolidation. Testnet should be open to anyone who wants to download open source modules and participate! This phase will include more detailed web panels showing blocks of data being mined on the Exorde network, the number of free and employed workers, protocol details with additional statistics, URLs, and more. End of July, beginning of August.

Stage 4: Testnet v0.2, with improved staking mechanisms, rewards and dynamic protocol settings. Constant improvements, the most advanced web scraping modules! End of summer - September.
