Former Manchester United players Gary Neville and Paul Scholes are partnering with a Singaporean Singerfather-son billionaire duo to launch a DAO. The decentralized autonomous organization, dubbed CO92 DAO, after the dominant squad of ’92, will be geared towards facilitating fan investment in soccer-centric ventures and projects. The overall estimated value of the projects is approximately $25 billion.

One of the partners, Kiat Lim, son to Peter, touched on the CO92 DAO with the ex-football stars. According to Lim:

Kiat Lim weighed in on the development saying:

“We are currently already reviewing a range of professional football project opportunities, and will announce developments in the months ahead. We are bringing many cumulative years of experience and personal high-level networks into this project to try to make it as big a success as it can be.”

The Lim family did not reveal the amount of money invested in the project or provide insight into its ownership structure. However, Lim stated that the DAO would hold a public token sale with no minimum entry. He further added that the specifics of such allocation will “be announced in due course.”

Alongside Gary Neville and Paul Scholes, a few other members of the United squad from that era are also reportedly part of the DAO. They include Nicky Butt, Ryan Giggs, and Gary’s younger brother Phil Neville.
