Hey guys, how are y'all doing, today I will be writing a short article review about Apeswap Non-Fungible Ape (NFAs), this is actually my third article about this project, if you are interested to know more things about Apeswap kindly check here and here,so without wasting much time let's get down to business, shall we?
For those reading/hearing about Apeswap for the first time, I will explain,
What is Apeswap?
Apeswap is a Decentralized Exchange, an Automated Market Maker (AMM), a Yield Farming and Staking platform running on BINANCE Smart Chain(BSC).
The Apeswap platform was built by DeFi Apes, for DeFi Apes. Apeswap has a dedicated team of experienced monkeys, who have been in the crypto space for years. $BANANA is the native currency of platform. Why you should use Apeswap?
Apeswap works like every DEX out there, which is just for swapping alone, but Apeswap is alot more different than any other DEX's as it is not just an Automatic Market Marker, it provides so many ways you can earn from it, like the high APR percentage for staking etc.
So next I'll be talking about the main topic for today's project review which is,
What are Non-Fungible Apes(NFAs)?
Non-Fungible Apes (NFAs) are a cryptographically generated set of 1,000 unique, rare, immutable, digital apes. Each ape is created by hashing a string (such as “Strong Ape”) to randomly generate a set of 6 characteristics: Base, Face, Frame, Mouth, Eyes, and Top.
Also, each characteristic has a different likelihood of occurring in each ape generation, making some characteristics much more rare than others. Let's say for instance, only 32 apes have laser eyes and only 107 apes have sunglasses. Each ape has a score generated based on the combined rarity of its characteristics (more details about rarity can be seen in the Github repo) here.
DeFi apes then categorize that score into one of five different tiers to determine overall rarity. The rarity tiers are as follows:
1. Common Chimps: Tier 1 (500 NFAs) — Most common
2. Original Orangutans: Tier 2 (250 NFAs)
3. Alluring Apes: Tier 3 (150 NFAs)
4. Prime Primates: Tier 4 (70 NFAs)
5. Magic Monkeys: Tier 5 (30 NFAs) — Most rare

How do I get my hands on an NFAs?
It's pretty simple, although the first 100 set of NFAs have been sold out already on the 8th of April, but no need to worry there's another sale coming up on the 8th of this month on NFTKEY : https://ape-swap.medium.com/nfa-sale-4-recap-74d3fe99d35, do well to participate and grab some NFAs if you're lucky.
The Non-Fungible Apes will be released and sold in batches of 100, with the first batch having a listing price of 0.25 BNB for Common Chimps, with increasing pricing for apes with more rare characteristics and specialized names. There will only be 1,000 Non-Fungible Apes ever released.
This means this first batch, will be the cheapest that NFAs are ever sold for, never again will they be sold under 1 BNB, so quickly get them while they last now, also they normally have some promos on Twitter, so keep an eye on their twitter page just incase you're a lucky winner of an NFA.
Why you should gat an NFAs?
While NFAs are a cool novelty to the ApeSwap collectors, it seems the DeFi apes have the fullest intentions to bring true utility to their Non-Fungible Ape holders. Meaning, not only will NFAs get more valuable over time from a scarcity perspective, but also from a utility and use case perspective.

Firstly, NFAs have been integrated into the ApeSwap.Finance platform as profile photos and a dedicated NFA/NFT page where users can see their collection and browse the entire set of apes.
