Ethereum co-creator Vitalik Buterin has said that he is open to a collaboration between ethereum and dogecoin.
Some of his phrases were:
"If dogecoin wants to somehow bridge to ethereum, and then people can trade dogecoin thousands of times per second within a circular loop, then that would be amazing."
"I don't think governments have the ability to ban cryptocurrencies to the point of completely preventing the existence of the blockchain. But they definitely have the ability to really marginalize it."
It is very likely that in the future we will see Etherium and Dogecoin collaborating in various spheres and the price of their virtual currencies will increase, but they may be more than empty words.
