Ethereum where my money goes? - Internal Transaction

Do repost and rate:

Recently, there are people asking me where their Ethereum goes and how I can find if there Ethereum does complete transaction in their wallet.

Let me explain how you can find your total amount of Ethereum.

Your wallet is a portal to access the value of your cryptocurrencies. However, it may not give you entire picture about how much you totally own your cryptocurrencies.

Considering Ethereum and its related tokens, you should go to Etherscan to find out how much total amount you owned.

If you have not yet done so, I suggest you to register an account and add your address in your watch list.

Once you input your wallet address, you can access to see how much value you possess and all kinds of transactions you had.

As you know, not all transactions are captured in the wallet. For example, Internal Transaction is one special that will not appear in your wallet in most of the cases.

Where cryptocurrencies are created, it will also create Merkle Tree which is a blockchain system that automatically record the entire digital currencies' transactions. Such blockchain has been recorded in the Etherscan.

What is Internal Txns or Internal Transaction?

It is  a transaction that sent from a contract account to another contract account. Or simply it does not go through blockchain transaction and it goes through contract transaction.

The value you receive and the coin are the same. It is just another method to transfer crypto from one account to another.

Why use Internal Transaction?

Because it is easier for sender to share batches of different addresses receivers in relatively convenience way through internal transaction rather than regular blockchain transaction.

Also, it is more secure to send to someone from the internal system rather than mistakenly send to someone from the outside.

Why bother to know about this?

Mainly, PUBLISH0X will send their Ethereum through internal transaction.

How do I access to the amount of internal transaction Ethereum?

One way is to contact your wallet providers, they can access from back door to help you retreat your coins.

Another way is to use wallet that support smart contract features.

There are many of them in the market.

However, I think it is best to set up an account in Etherscan and gather all information under your account.
