Deribit, the cryptocurrency futures, and options exchange, announced today the launch of Ethereum (ETH) trading, Deribit will be offering zero fee trading on the ETH Perpetual and Futures until further notice.
The fee on their ETH Options when launched in the near future will be set at 0.04% both for maker and taker orders.
Ethereum Perpetual and Futures
Ethereum trading on Deribit will start with a Perpetual, Quarterly Future and a Semi-Annually Future, see the contract specifications below:
- Contract size: USD 1.00
- Tick size: USD 0.01
- Max leverage: 50x
- Initial margin: 2% (linearly increasing with 1% per 10,000 ETH position size)
