Ethereum developers are making further successes on their way to phase 1.5, which is merging Eth 1.0 mainnet with Eth 2.0 beacon chain. Namely, Sigma Prime has recently announced on Twitter that their Lighthouse client succesfully made transaction between networks using only Proof-of-Stake validators.
This is exciting! This signals that we might be closer to the Eth 2.0 upgrade than we previously thought. I have a feeling we might see it in Q4 this year.
