In the last E&S article I introduced you Decentraland (MANA) and I said that is nothing but a virtual game. To be precise, it is one of the very first cryptographic video games that is based on the buying and selling of digital land. A land for sale on Decentraland starts from the price of 4.4 ETH now. For this reason, the game has inevitably attracted all traders who operate on highly speculative investments.
How can you invest in Decentraland?
Mainly there are 2 ways. The first is to invest in their MANA currency, the second is to buy their land in the metaverse through OpenSea

Actually, floor price is around 4.5 ETH. At this price you can find lands the size of a “Parcel”. This is the functional unit of the game world chessboard. A Parcel is equivalent to 16 x 16 meters and is the smallest portion of land you can purchase. Each one has specific coordinates on the map and this information is recorded as a LAND token under ERC-721 standards, effectively making each territory a non-fungible token that can be traded on the marketplace.
Decentraland offers almost endless possibilities of fun, for those who appreciate the genre. Besides, it is possible to generate real earnings by carrying out activities and trading NFT within the game, such as accessories and clothing for your avatar. Everything, or almost everything, revolves around the total creative freedom of the user. Through Decentraland's powerful SDK, anyone can learn how to create scenes and games to be implemented on the platform. In addition, on the official portal you can unleash your imagination within the Builder, a system of scene creation with graphical interface in which each user can create and customize buildings or game scenarios with roads, walls, furniture and many other objects that range across multiple genres, from cyberpunk to tropical atmospheres.
Actually, you can do really anything in Genesis City: there are racing games, small sandboxes and games with crafting mechanics. Among the options there are also lots of mini games designed for socializing, such as minigolf, or for those who want to try their luck, even a casino created by Atari. For art lovers, there is no lack of galleries to visit and concerts to live and experience in real time.
Many funds and organizations have believed and invested in the project. The latest to inaugurate its own virtual space on Decentraland was Samsung with the 837X space. Another example of remarkable commitment is given by the project of Sotheby's, which in Genesis City has brought a copy of the New Bond Street office in London, directly in the Art District, creating a virtual gallery for all users eager to live the experience of one of the most famous auction houses in the world. We talked about concerts and live events. Well, very recently in Decentraland has also opened its doors the Amnesia in Ibiza, the first club to land even in the digital world, in which on the one hand you can participate in events "live" in game graphics and on the other watch live streaming.
The latest novelty, however, is the possibility of attending the Australian Open on Decentraland, in a dedicated space where users will be able not only to watch the matches in streaming, but also to visit some of the characteristic structures of the event, including the Rod Laver Arena.
