Improving my CL Water Cards while Waiting for the New Rebellion Set!
There are still a few weeks to go before those who bought the packs available in the presale of the Rebellion set will be able to open them and start selling cards on the market.
Almost surely, the first few weeks I will avoid buying cards, because I assume that they will be selling out and the prices will skyrocket: my idea is to wait and monitor the evolution of the situation, evaluating the trend of the value of the cards in the new set, looking for the most useful cards ( for sure also checking @libertycrypto27's posts ) and saving what I can from the renting and selling of the cards I don't use.
My budget will definitely be very low, but even just a few Common and Rare cards could prove extremely useful, especially if I can manage to upgrade them a bit.
Beyond that, though, since sitting around doing nothing really doesn't suit me, meanwhile I am trying to gear up as best I can, finalizing my buying goals regarding the Chaos Legion set, the other set that will be playable in the Modern format along with the Rebellion one.
More specifically, I am focusing on the cards of the Chaos Legion set, thus excluding those of the Riftwatchers mini-set, which are too expensive for my pocket.
Since the Death and Fire elements are already roughly at the level I was aiming for ( with the exception of the Epic cards, which are my biggest weakness), the other element that I had planned to improve more than a year ago was the Water one.
My original goal was, in fact, to also bring Kelya Frendul to level 4, just as I have already done with Thaddius Brood, but the cost proved to be out of my reach, so I had to settle for a more modest level 3, as I had already mentioned a few days ago in another post of mine
In addition to the Summoner I also purchased and slowly leveled a few creatures, as can be seen in this screenshot:
Aside from a few Gold cards that I have yet to sell - and whose proceeds I will probably save for the Rebellion set - I otherwise managed to get all the Common cards to level 4, the Rares to level 2 or 3 (depending on which one I needed), the Epics (alas) only to level 1, while among the Legendaries I am missing Baakjira, I have at level 1 Torrent FiendPossibilus The Wise and at level 2 River Hellondale
This is not perfection, but it's certainly a decent rooster, providing me with a good advantage in the Silver League, especially since everything is topped off by my cards from the Rewards set, which are at this point an essential and vital part of my lineups.
Now, unless I manage to catch some particularly irresistible bargain, I have no basic intention of buying anything else, but just want to complete the sale of the last cards I no longer need to see how much DEC I will be able to set aside. And after that... let the Rebellion begin!

Upgrade delle mie Carte CL dell'Elemento Acqua in Attesa del Set Rebellion!
Manca ancora qualche settimana prima che gli acquirenti dei pacchetti disponibili nella presale del set Rebellion possano procedere ad aprirli e cominciare a vendere le carte sul mercato.
Al 99% i primi tempi evitero di acquistare carte, perche immagino che andranno a ruba ed i prezzi saranno alle stelle: la mia idea e quella di attendere ed osservare l'evolversi della situazione, valutando l'andamento del valore delle carte del nuovo set, cercando di individuare le carte piu utili (sicuramente anche consultando i posti di @libertycrypto27 ) e risparmiando quel che posso dal renting e dalla vendita delle carte che non utilizzo.
Il mio budget sara sicuramente molto basso, ma anche solo qualche carta Comune e Rara potrebbe rivelarsi estremamente utile, soprattutto se mi riuscisse di potenziarla un po'.
Oltre a cio, pero, dato che starmene con le mani in mano a non fare niente non mi si addice proprio, nel mentre sto cercando di prepararmi al meglio, completando i miei obiettivi di acquisto relativamente al set Chaos Legion, l'altro set che rimarra giocabile nel formato Modern insieme al set Rebellion.
In particolare mi sto concentrando proprio sulle carte del set Chaos Legion, escludendo quindi quelle del mini-set Riftwatchers, troppo costose per le mie tasche.
Considerato che gli elementi Morte e Fuoco sono gia piu o meno al livello che mi ero prefissato (fatta eccezione per le carte Epiche, che sono il mio punto debole), l'altro elemento che gia piu di un anno fa avevo deciso di migliorare era quello dell'Acqua.
Il mio obiettivo originale era portare anche Kelya Frendul al livello 4, proprio come ho gia fatto con Thaddius Brood, ma la spesa si e rivelata fuori dalla mia portata, per cui mi sono dovuto accontentare di un piu modesto livello 3, come gia avevo scritto qualche giorno fa in un altro mio post
Oltre all'Evocatore ho anche acquistato e piano piano livellato un po' di creature, come visibile in questo screenshot:
A parte qualche carta Gold che ancora devo vendere - ed i cui ricavi probabilmente terro da parte per il set Rebellion - per il resto sono riuscito a portare al livello 4 tutte le carte Comuni, le Rare al livello 2 o 3 (a seconda di quella che mi serviva), le Epiche (ahime) solo al livello 1, mentre delle Leggendarie mi manca Baakjira, ho al livello 1 Torrent FiendPossibilus The Wise ed al livello 2 River Hellondale
Non e la perfezione, ma sicuramente e un rooster decente, che mi assicura un buon vantaggio nella Lega Argento, soprattutto considerato che il tutto e completato dalle carte del set Rewards, che ormai costituiscono parte integrante ed essenziale delle mie formazioni.
Adesso, a meno che non mi riesca di beccare qualche affare particolarmente irresistibile, di base non ho intenzione di acquistare altro, ma voglio solo portare a termine la vendita delle ultime carte che non mi servono piu per vedere quanto DEC saro in grado di mettere da parte. E dopo... che la Ribellione abbia inizio!
