Has My ZING Strategy Paid so Far?
After almost a month and a half since the launch of the ZING token I feel it's time to make some further points about the approach I'm currently adopting toward this token and the I'm achieving.

To recap:
- initially I proceeded to sell my ZING tokens as soon as possible, trying to take advantage of their high selling value;
- afterwards I started adding all my ZING tokens to the HIVE-ZING liquidity pool, covering the HIVE token part with the conversion of half of my liquid ZING.
The goal of this shift in strategy was to leverage the very high APR of the pool, although aware of the risks associated with the impermanent loss, which are almost inevitable with a token pair in which one of the tokens does not yet have a clear and stable value.
So let's go over some numbers.
Selling the ZING token
The results of the first part of my strategy are very easy to observe:
On average I sold these tokens at about 0.08915 HIVE each, which is a much higher price than the current one.
To get a better idea, if I were to use these HIVE to buy ZING tokens today this is what I would get:
Basically, I would be able to buy more than four time as many ZING as I have sold, and that should be absolutely enough to cover even the staking rewards I gave up by selling these tokens - sadly the staking rewards, due to the wide variation in APR during this period, are too difficult to calculate, so mine is just an estimate
HIVE-ZING Liquidity Pool
Moving on to the second phase of my strategy, this is currently the liquidity I provide to the pair under review:
With an APR exceeding 400% the liquidity pool yields me almost 20 ZING per day, but at the same time exposes my investment to the impermanent loss, which is especially relevant with a token pair that, at least at this time, has divergent behavior (HIVE rising slightly and ZING falling steadily
However, the entire liquidity I provide to this pair is covered by the ZING token, so in the worst case my loss will consist in getting a little less ZING.
Currently, in any case, if I were to remove my liquidity from the pool today and convert the HIVEs to ZING tokens I would get about 1,600 ZING.
These, when added to the ZING that I still hold in staking....
... would bring the total to about 2300 which, alone, is close to the number of ZING that have been distributed to me to date thanks to the POSH I hold, my delegation to the account @zingtokennot long ago increased to 1200 HP!) and the staking rewards:
There would be about 400 ZING missing, which, however, as I showed earlier, I would easily be able to get by selling less than 1/4 of the HIVE I have set aside through the first part of my strategy.
Twisting the Sums
As of today, I can only consider myself very pleased with the way things are going, as actively following a strategy is clearly giving me good results: of course, everything is still hanging and things might change very quickly should ZING undergo unexpected and large price shifts, especially upwards.
taking some risk is unavoidable if one wants to seek to make progress, particularly since my main goal is to get a bigger position in this project than I would have been able to get by simply doing a delegation and then letting things run on their own - something that, in my experience, to date has not brought me any good result
A Glance into the Future
We are now starting to approach a price range where I begin to have strong doubts about future trends in the value of the ZING token: we know, based on the math done by , that in order to reach a value equivalent to that of the rewards achievable from the curation activity of the @zingotken account, that the value could easily keep going down... , expectations are very high about HoloZing and I believe that this may play a very important role in keeping the value of the token much higher.
The question is, how high
I, of course, have no idea ?? so right now I have chosen to keep providing liquidity to the HIVE-ZING pair, taking advantage of the high APR as long as it remains so appealing.
I also plan to keep liquid the HIVE I have earned in order to purchase game assets as they become available - Starter pack and Healer, for example
Above all, though, I will keep monitoring the progress of the ZING token and reading the posts published by @holozing, thus keeping myself informed about the game and able to seize some future good opportunities

Sta Funzionando la mia Strategia con il Token ZING?
Dopo quasi un mese e mezzo dal lancio del token ZING penso sia arrivato il momento di fare qualche ulteriore considerazione sull'approccio che sto adottando con questo token e sui risultati che sto ottenendo.
Se voleste leggere i primi due post che ho scritto a riguardo, potete trovarli qui sotto:

Per riassumere:
- inizialmente ho proceduto a vendere i miei token ZING non appena possibile, cercando di sfruttare il loro alto valore di vendita;
- successivamente ho cominciato ad aggiungere tutti i miei ZING alla pool di liquidita HIVE-ZING, coprendo la parte relativa al token HIVE con la conversione di meta dei miei ZING liquidi.
L'obiettivo di questo cambio di strategia era quello di sfruttare l'altissimo APR della pool, seppur consapevole dei rischi collegati all'impermanent loss, praticamente inevitabili nel caso di una coppia di token in cui uno dei due non ha ancora un valore chiaro e stabile.
Andiamo quindi a vedere un po' di numeri.
Vendita del token ZING
I risultati della prima parte della mia strategia sono molto facili da osservare:
Di media ho venduto questi ZING a circa 0.08915 HIVE l'uno, che e un prezzo molto piu alto dell'attuale.
Per farsi un'idea piu precisa, se oggi utilizzassi questi HIVE per acquistare token ZING questo e cio che otterrei:
In pratica potrei acquistare piu del quadruplo degli ZING che ho venduto, e cio dovrebbe essere assolutamente sufficiente a coprire anche le ricompense da staking a cui ho rinunciato vendendo questi token - purtroppo le ricompense da staking, stante la forte variazione dell'APR in questo periodo, sono troppo difficili da calcolare, per cui la mia e solo una stima
Pool di Liquidita HIVE-ZING
Passando alla seconda fase della mia strategia, questa e attualmente la liquidita che fornisco alla coppia in esame:
Con un APR superiore al 400% la pool di liquidita mi frutta quasi 20 ZING al giorno, ma al contempo sottopone il mio investimento alle perdite derivanti dall'impermanent loss, particolarmente importanti nel caso di una coppia di token che, almeno in questo momento, hanno un comportamento divergente (HIVE in leggero aumento e ZING in costante calo
Tuttavia l'intera liquidita che fornisco a questa coppia e coperta dal token ZING, per cui nella peggiore delle ipotesi il mio danno consistera nell'ottenere un po' meno ZING.
Attualmente, in ogni caso, se rimuovessi oggi la mia liquidita dalla pool e convertissi gli HIVE in ZING otterrei circa 1.600 ZING.
Questi, se sommati agli ZING che ancora possiedo in staking...
... porterebbero il totale a circa 2300 che, gia cosi, si avvicina al numero di ZING che mi sono stati distribuiti sino ad oggi grazie ai POSH che detengo, alla mia delega in favore dell'account @zingtokennon molto fa aumentata a 1200 HP!) e alle ricompense da staking:
Mancherebbero circa 400 ZING, che pero, come ho mostrato prima, potrei facilmente ottenere vendendo meno di 1/4 degli HIVE che ho messo da parte grazie alla prima parte della mia strategia.
Tirando le Somme
Ad oggi non posso che ritenermi molto soddisfatto di come stanno andando le cose, dato che il seguire attivamente una strategia mi sta chiaramente dando dei buoni risultati: certo, tutto ancora e in bilico e le cose potrebbero cambiare molto velocemente ove ZING dovesse subire inaspettati e grossi cambiamenti di prezzo, soprattutto in aumento.
Tuttavia correre qualche rischio e inevitabile se si vuole cercare di fare progressi, soprattutto considerato che il mio obiettivo principale e riuscire ad ottenere su questo progetto una posizione piu importante di quella che sarei riuscito ad ottenere semplicemente limitandomi a fare una delega e lasciar poi andare avanti le cose da sole - cosa che, nella mia esperienza, sino ad oggi non mi hai portato nessun buon risultato
Uno Sguardo al Futuro
Adesso cominciamo ad avvicinarci ad un range di prezzo in cui comincio ad avere forti dubbi sull'andamento futuro del valore del token ZING: sulla base dei calcoli fatti da sappiamo che, per raggiugere un valore equivalente a quello delle ricompense ottenibili dall'attivita di curation dell'account @zingotken, il valore potrebbe tranquillamente continuare a scendere... , le aspettative riguardo ad HoloZing sono molto alte e credo che cio possa giocare un ruolo molto importante nel mantenere il valore del token ben piu piu in alto.
La domanda e: quanto in alto
Io, ovviamente, non ne ho idea ?? per cui in questo momento ho deciso di continuare a fornire liquidita alla coppia HIVE-ZING, sfruttando l'elevato APR fintanto che restera cosi interessante.
Ho anche intenzione di mantenere liquidi gli HIVE che ho guadagnato per acquistare assets del gioco, non appena saranno disponibili - Starter pack ed Healer, ad esempio
Soprattutto, pero, continuero a monitorare l'andamento del token ZING ed a leggere i post pubblicati da @holozing, in modo da mantenermi informato sul gioco e poter cogliere qualche futura buona occasione
