Hand-To-Hand Combat
A new challenge awaits us on SPLINTERLANDS and once again the Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge requires us to face our opponents... with bare hands
Up Close and Personal ruleset allows players to only deploy creatures with melee attacks: this means that even creatures with a double type of attack - e.g. melee and ranged - are allowed and, indeed, can be a great way to catch your opponent off guard!
Some abilities also become exceptionally important: demoraliseretaliate can be devastating, since their effects will affect all creatures on the battlefield.
At the same time, however, we must keep in mind that our opponent will also benefit from the same advantages, so we must try to build our team in such a way as to minimise the damage caused by those abilities.
Let's move to the Battlefield!
fought in the Wild Format with this ruleset:
Up Close and Personal ruleset forces both me and my opponent to deploy creatures with melee attacks: my opponent also relies on a tank with the ability, while I go for the ability, which allows each of my creatures to get an extra point of attack.
During the first few turns, my creatures, due to their speed and their opportunity abilities, successfully hit the backlines of the enemy, beginning to weaken the forces of the opponent's ranks immediately.
However, the ability also takes its toll and, after a while, it's the turn of my front lines to begin to surrender.
Meanwhile Relenor Cleaver, thanks to the bloodlust ability, becomes an increasingly fearsome threat, putting my chances of victory in serious danger.
In spite of everything, however, the superiority of my team's numbers is enough to weaken the mighty enemy creature who, after wiping out three of my creatures, gets finally defeated.
MVP of the match
All the creatures I lined up performed well, contributing greatly to winning the game: Demented Shark, however, with the ability definitely provided a big boost to all of my other creatures, letting me do up to 5 more damage in the first few turns of the game and deserving for this, in my opinion, the title of MVP of the match!
image taken from Splintercards.com Making the most of abilities that have an impact on the melee attacks of our creatures - or the opponent's - proved to be a winning choice, allowing me to achieve a fine victory, despite a tenacious and very dangerous opponent.
We thus put a new ruleset to the test, and continued to refine our abilities over the course of these Challenges

Combattere a Mani Nude
Una nuova sfida ci attende su Splinterlands e ancora una volta la Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge ci richiede di affrontare i nostri avversari... a mani nude
Il ruleset Up Close and Personal consente ai giocatori di schierare solamente creature capaci di attaccare corpo a corpo: questa significa che anche creature con un doppio tipo di attacco - ad esempio corpo a corpo ed a distanza - sono ammesse e, anzi, possono essere un ottimo modo per sorprendere l'avversario!
Alcune abilita inoltre diventano particolarmente importanti: demoralizeretaliate possono risultare devastanti, dal momento che i loro effetti coinvolgeranno tutte le creature presenti sul campo di battaglia.
Al contempo, pero, bisogna tenere a mente che anche il nostro avversario potra avvalersi dei medesimi vantaggi e, per questo motivo, dobbiamo cercare di strutturare il nostro team in modo da minimizzare i danni causati da quelle abilita.
Spostiamoci sul Campo di Battaglia!
una partita combattuta nel Wild Format con questo ruleset:
Il ruleset Up Close and Personal costringe sia me che il mio avversario a schierare creature con attacchi da mischia: il mio avversario punta inoltre su un tank con l'abilita , mentre io per l'abilita , che consente a ciascuna delle mie creature di ottenere un punto di attacco in piu.
Nel corso dei primi turni le mie creature, grazie alla loro velocita ed alle abilita opportunity riescono a colpire con successo le retrovie nemiche, cominciando da subito ad indebolire le forze dello schieramento avversario.
Anche l'abilita si fa pero sentire e, dopo poco, e il momento delle mie prime linee di cominciare a capitolare.
Nel mentre Relenor Cleaver, grazie all'abilita bloodlust, diventa una minaccia sempre piu temibile, mettendo in serio pericolo le mie possibilita di vittoria.
Nonostante tutto, pero, la superiorita numerica del mio team e sufficiente a fiaccare la possente creature nemica che, dopo aver eliminato tre delle mie creature, viene infine sconfitta.
MVP della partita
Tutte le creature da me schierate si sono comportate bene, apportando un fondamentale contributo per la vittoria della partita: Demented Shark, tuttavia, con l'abilita ha sicuramente fornito un grosso aiuto a tutte le altre mie creature, consentendomi di fare fino a 5 danni in piu nei primi turni di gioco e meritandosi per questo, a mio avviso, il titolo di MVP della partita!
immagine presa da Splintercards.com Sfruttare al massimo le abilita che hanno un impatto sugli attacchi da mischia delle nostre creature - o quelle avversarie - si e rivelata una scelta vincente, che mi ha consentito di ottenere una bella vittoria, nonostante un avversario tenace e molto pericoloso.
Abbiamo cosi messo alla prova un nuovo ruleset, continuando a perfezionare le nostre abilita nel corso di queste Challenges
